Metro Power Drain Cleaner How To Video

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

pixvid.me/MetroTutorial General Pipe Cleaners Metro power drain cleaner is a tough root-cutting machine in a compact, lightweight package at a price that's easy on tight budgets. With a capacity of 75 feet of 5/8-inch cable, it handles roots and other difficult obstructions in 3-inch to 6-inch lines -- ideal for drain cleaners, plumbers, and contractors. This easy to use, one-person operation machine is light enough to take down to the basement or up on the roof.
The Metro's power cable feed is a real labor saver. It enables you to vary feeding speed in and out of the line and gives you better control when working tough stoppages. Easily handles 9/16", 5/8" and 3/4" cables.
Heavy gauge wire is coiled around 49 strand wire rope and then heat treated. This cable has unequalled strength and the right amount of flexibility. It's so tough, it has a one year warranty against defect or breakage.

I bought my metro at Home D rental, used, about 6 years ago for tree roots. It is awesome! The machine is well made, it makes you feel like a pro and has definitely paid for itself multiple times.

Great video, very concise and safety orientated. Have used the open cage manual feed type . Dangerous and labor intensive. Where can I rent one. Home Depot advertises for these units but everyone at contact that they don't have them there for rental. I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago can anyone help

The rental industry prefers the open cage design because the cable can be easily inspected and cleaned between rentals. We offer a poly-canvas cage cover as an option. Please call our customer service at 800-245-6200 for assistance.

I have the general mini rooter xp, bought couple of years ago. My autofeeder looks the same as this one, but it's not gripping the cable anymore. Where can I get the replacement bearings?

The Metro uses a larger feed roller than the Mini-Rooter feed. Order part number PO-MR-703 for a set of 3 feed rollers for your machine. Please visit www.drainbrain.com and click on the Where to Buy page to find a distributor in your area.

Gasoline ones are for heavy duty use as in commercial / outdoor applications . Electric ones should be sufficient in household use .
