creativity is intelligence having fun. for the few people suggesting that "creativity is something that people innately have," y'all are wrong. Engross yourself in something, and continue learning and applying what you know. Little by little, after you begin adding up the babysteps, you will go on your way to become a master like Metro Boomin. Society has fooled a lot of humans into thinking that creativity is something you're born with....NAH. errbody has it. just realise it and begin working with what you've got. put your own twist into it and go all out.

not everyone is born with it bro.. there is only one MJ one kobe one me one you.. "creativity" ain't about practice.. practice makes better but what's there to begin with.. stop downplaying this brothers talents..
@sneakyADIL

+TowaiT a brand first off homie, don't put words in my mouth.. I wasn't downplaying his talent.. every second song I jam is produced by him and I feel honest in saying that I am not on his level. I acknowledge that he has a gift which he worked on developing even more. I was merely trying to encourage others who feel that success like Metro Boomin's is impossible without being born with it. Too many people fool themselves into thinking this kinda success is unattainable without having an innate knack for it and use it as an excuse. All I'm saying is..hard work speaks for itself. if you want it bad enough...you can get it!

Nah he's right. We all got 99.9999999999% DNA homie. It has nothing to do with being born with the skill. It's either erupt from the lifestyle you lived, practicing at a very young age, or dedicating yourself to one art for a very long time. If you keep thinking that you don't have the ability to be as good as Metro Boomin or Lex Luger or whoever the fuck then YOU are setting YOURSELF way back.

This dude is impressive. When you have the songwriter/producer mind state. You dont really need to know how to be super gifted to play keys. Just learn your software. Nowadays producers are songwriters too becuz of the way they have to create. It kinda shows you music theory in a way. When I was comin up, us producers were more like arrangers first, becuz of sampling alot. And we barely got any writing credits. But know im glad things are different for producers who songwrite.

@ph0kused
10 жыл бұрын
southside was never as good as lex, metro, sonny digital, mike will, etc. Southside's beats are pretty intermediate trap shit, not hating, they're just stock sounds, very few drops or changes, his 808 patterns hardly ever change up, he just keeps them on whatever key the song's in, and maybe bumps it an octave on the 4-count. Southside started with lex, got introduced to people, and is a great example of someone using their network skills over raw talent, he works hard

A lot of good producers, good musicians, and musically inclined people can...
creativity is intelligence having fun. for the few people suggesting that "creativity is something that people innately have," y'all are wrong.

@GoDsOfWoLvEs

@ph0kused

southside was never as good as lex, metro, sonny digital, mike will, etc.
