I'm currently in training for my motorbike licence, and when I get it I'm going to buy a Super Meteor 650. Then the time will come to customise it, and your tutorials will be a great help. Thanks so much for sharing!

Great video on tank removal and fitting, thanks. I'm really keen to find out more about the rev counter. I found the Tripper to be superfluous for my needs, when it actually works properly, which is hit and miss. I reckon RE should've made the rev counter an option. Anyhow, I've been looking at ways to fit one. Ride well. Cheers

Thank you. Agreed. So many options such as suspension, exhausts, vans rev counters Royal Enfield will miss out on. I am currently at the tip of the Himalayas filming new pannier options at the moment. Next week's video 😂🙏

Brilliant effort especially as yude been to work all day!! I put a deposit on a classic 350 on Thursday and whilst in the dealer I was looking at the new Himalayans. Bearing in mind how you found it top heavy I thought I'd try and take the weight of the bike. Like you I didn't think it was worth the risk of it toppling over on me. Discretion being the better part of valour and all that.🤗

I will avoid the Himalayan from now on. Decided it will never be a bike for me. Never had so much hate or abuse on a video before, just for speaking the truth. All the best with the Classic. The J series engine is very good and economical 🙏

@@Teacher-T-Thailand It's unfortunate that people don't realise how lucky they are to be able to interact with a content provider such as yourself. If it was old school tv like top gear there would be no feed back by the viewer allowed or mentioned. You gave an honest opinion. Some people might have ordered the bike online only to find it's not for them and then taken a hit financially to sell it as a one person owner.

Hi just watched the tank removal video was useful to see it done. I have recently fitted the hitchcocks rev counter to my super meteor 650 and found you do not have to remove the tank to fit the plugs you can get to them (a little fiddly but okay). on mine i had to remove the screen and open up the head light and that is it. it took me a bit of time to fit the rev counter it's self as i took the tripper off and mounted it there instead of on the plate. if you buy the kit it should now come with a resister.

Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. Did it plug into the grey connectors under the tank? Or use the spare 12 v power supply in the headlight?

Thank's for this nice Video. I am in process to install my own Rev counter based on Hitchcocks System because of the high price. I bought a Daytona Rev counter (80,-€). The basic plate a have made it from Aluminium (3 mm). Now i am still waiting for the plug's which come from China. What i can't see in Hitchcocks installation instruction is, which kable i have to use coming from the coil. Could you advice me? 😃😃

Hi teacher T. Is it possible to lower the seat more on this bike

  • @Teacher-T-Thailand

I would say not. If you remove the seat completely and sit on the bike, your feet touch the ground even less. Because of the width of the bike, but you can lower the rear suspension by 20mm. I made a video here : Meteor 650 suspension upgrade. Hagon Shocks - Are they any good? kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y5xlrJJym5Tep9o.html

Well done. Star pupil. I wanted people to comment and ask, and you are the first. I don’t see any sign of a fuel leak. I think it’s historic from servicing twice when they removed the fuel tank instead of using a cloth to soak up the small amount of fuel in the quick release head, they just let it drip on the bike. If however over the next few days I do find a leak, you will be the first to know. 🙏
