Metatarsal Pad Placement
This instructional video explains the purpose and placement of metatarsal pads. Metatarsal pads are used to help spread the transverse arch (the arch behind the ball of your foot), and encourage the return of the forefoot fat pad and overextended toes back to their natural position. Met pads are commonly used by people who suffer from conditions such as: capsulitis, neuromas, plantar fasciosis, plantar-plate issues, hammertoes, bunions and ball of foot pain.

Dr. Ray advocated for individualized placement for Left and Right pads due to most folks feet being slightly different Left and Right. Could you say more about the benefits of just sticking them in the middle of the middle third? Hello, would these work in barefoot shoes for sesamoiditis pain ?

When determining treatment for specific diagnosis please speak with a professional. Metatarsal pads do fit into barefoot shoes, when placed properly, and are supportive of the transverse arch.
I might have to look into the pads or toe wear, do you ship Internationally? Also, do you have videos on how to decrease veiny feet? Thanks :-))

It is the exact same place as the metatarsal pad. Please see the package directions for proper alignment. Pedag should also have awesome images on where to place!

Where can I buy the strap metatarsal strap? I just bought yesterday the correct toes and the pair of toes sock. I didn’t find it on your website. Which you guys were in middle TN. Grateful for all your videos. I now understand why I recently suffered a sprained ankle bone fractures, 2 ligament tear and a tendon teat and other things.
