My late brother is a Metallica diehard fan. 1 week before he left, he share this song and tagged me in facebook. He told me how much he love kirk & rob expression in this song. THE DAY THAT NEVER COMES be his last song dedicated to me. How much I miss him cos we share Metallica music since we're kid.

metfan4l it gets pretty good amount of respect the live version from Quebec has over 7 million views and there is another person that stole it and posted it and it has almost 3 million views. Death Magnetic is aging very well and the live versions are mixed better than the album

Locura Jones I saw them in Geneva this year. The location was very very badly choosen. It is a huge hall, where usually the car salon is. The sound was terrible. I noticed fans were singing the wrong lyrics.. I mean sometimes you weren't able to recognize the song. But in this video the sound is amazing!

It's annoying actually...cheesiest metallica song ever as well...so if it wasn't cheesy enough the crowd singing along to instrumental parts tips the cheese-o-meter right to the max
this live performance gives me chills every time man.... the crowed singing is so powerful combined with James's guitar
IMO the instrumental section of this song is one their best ever.
We all should consider ourselves lucky that these people still make albums

Yeah, if only they would make them more often like Megadeth for example. They are getting old fast, but 8 years gap is bullshit, I know they have a lot of material and potential left in them for new riffs. But I don't blame them tbh, they've proved themself long time ago, they can just tour every now and then and still shit money, that's how huge of a brand they are.

henri crousteau The intro on this one stands out but I'd say they gave an overall better performance in Nimes 09. Now that, in my opinion, was Metallicas best performance in the 00s.

Sailstone They may have been tighter back then, but the mixing and James' voice is way better here. Guitar tone and drum sound are way better here. And the crowd humming the intro is just another reason to love this performance.

Everytime someone says "Hardwired was their return to the roots! So awesome!" I just think "What about Death Magnetic?" Thankfully I'm not the only one who thinks that album is underrated.

I can't stop watching this. It's so fucking amazing every time i see it it blows my mind. The song and the live playing are on another level.
What I love about Metallica is that everyone is in his own world. 4:32 everyone in his job, minding their businesses, and they all work independently still making an amazing combination. Well every band does it, but Metallica do it in their own badass way.
This was fucking awesome!!!! This was a near perfect group performance. Lars' drumming was on point, Kirk nailed the solo and the harmonies, James did his job as always and so did Robert. That moment when James, Kirk, and Robert were all back to back literally brought a smile to my face and reminded just why I love this band so much.
This song made me remember "One". I called this song: Two (OneV2)

Rich Childs Most Of it’s hate came from the poor quality of the sound from the Cd’s, though I’m sure that issue was fixed and now with the music uploaded for KZread’s music app it has great quality.

I bought the album back in ’08, then replaced it on my hard drive with a rip from Guitar Hero, which didn’t suffer from the brick-wall distortions of the CD version.

I've seen these guys live at least 7 times and it's all been a blast at all of them. They never disappoint in sound or energy they bring to the show.
This is one of the best songs they ever made. I could hear it a thousand times and still love the riff.

yes it is underrated but it deserves more respect after load reload and st anger. Actually the sound in death magnetic is like Metallica did in the 80's. After load reload and st anger, they did solid thrash metal, and it is heavier than Hardwired album
