Reminds me of when Ozzy came out to sing with them and the crowd was just dead. You go to see a Metallica show, but you don't know Ozzy Osbourne?

They sound so good. The guitar tone sounds great, so does James vocals, and Lars seems to have been practicing lately, and robs backing vocals were really nice. He even harmonized with James at one point. Awesome performance all around

The Guitars always seem a bit lost in reverb, I´d like them to be a bit more direct and in your face. Nevertheless, a great live sound.

Absolutely. Collectively, they don't come off as 60 years old. But I first started following them in 1988, so in my head they'll always be those guys in their 20's that are still trying to live the dream.

Yeah this has some heavy Hit the Lights vibe. I think the stage is too well maintained for this song. Almost needs to be a smoke filled club stage and with the occasional clear plastic cup of piss beer flying across the camera view.

i cannot even begin to tell you how many boomers have told me about the first music video on mtv being that. ITs like its their secret password question or something 🤣 and this is just in my actual real life with real people. then i get to read about it in 9000 youtube videos/comments 🤣. I'm obviously just busting balls. But i do find it hilarious. i tend to think us as humans stop retaining new information past the age of 30 or so. So anything that happens in our 20's is usually law forever lmao.

for real! I wish they would just record at a half step down since that's how it's going to be played live anyway. James's vocals wouldn't sound so tuned up in the studio versions at least haha. I'm loving the new stuff from this album though. This song heavily plays tribute to "Hit the Lights", and I can't wait to see what else they do with it.

Huge respect for Metallica, but this song is pretty mediocre. Sounds like it should be off of Kill Em All, but it lacks the raw power and aggression from that album. This might as well have been on the last two albums cause it all sounds the same. Bands should learn that they don't need to keep making new music. This is just so bland and boring.

Man how i love this band, that's music!

Sobriety and experience might've calmed him but deep inside James is still that lanky kid in the cutoff t-shirt, shouting "Atttaaaaaccckkkk....everybody.....come on!" when they played "No Remorse" in Chicago in '83. Metallica never disappoints when they do what they do best.

Glad to see MTV being who they use to be again. Continue w/ it!

I can feel the energy from here!! Jesus, I saw Metallica one in 2017 and that was the HEAVIEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN ON! 2 and a half hours of pure energy and awesome music \m/ Now they're 60 y.o., I can't even imagine how should have been watch them in concert at their 20s/30s when they were younger!

I saw them at the same venue but in 2022, they played the first two records all the way through expect the four horseman and escape (that one makes sense lol). It was the best show ever and I was basically front row! 🤘🏻 I gotta catch on the new tour but it’s gonna be so expensive 😢

@@dmitryowens not at all for example. I like thrash probalby all death metal subgeneres early and mid 2000 metalcore bands. Some of Modern Metal bands as well but mostly progressive metalcore bands. Yeah there is so much copycats of meshuggah djent style of playing and I don't like that in most modern stuff but if it is a realy good written meterial it's good.
