Oh come on, you're 45 not 65...not even 55! 😝 I'm 45 too and haven't noticed any real physical decline, just a mellowing out psychologically (which I quite like!). I can still distance cycle, play hours of hard tennis (no keeping score, bouncing the ball, old person tennis: just bashing the ball over the net and picking it up after several rallies and going right again just as I've done since I was 12), hike for miles, all in all sorts of weather (from 5 degrees to 105) etc. Lifestyle affects one much more than age at any point in life, but especially pre 60...at least according to those I know over the age of 60, some of which are still very active but not under the illusion that they can still perform like they did from their teens to 50's. (I was fairly inactive in some years of my 20's due to overwork and social/romantic life and my body declined; I'm in better shape now!).

I’ve casually listened to them most of my life and MOP has always been my favorite. It blows my mind the stranger things brought back multiple songs from the 80s and exposed them to todays youth. It’s fucking awesome to see. Now all those kids wearing Metallica and Thrasher shirts as fashion, maybe now what they are wearing now. Any they are still killing it all these years later, and I regret having never seen them live. Especially in the early-mid 90s when so many friends of mine were seeing them live. Gotten older now I'm 60 and I understand the meaning, the deep meaning to this song as well as so many of their other songs the music means so much more to me now than just pissing off my parents when I was a teenager. Metal from the late 70s '80s and even some from the 90s is my classic rock. Some of it still gives me chills and brings back memories from my youth it's just freaking awesome.

LYRICS!!! End of passion play, crumbling away I'm your source of self-destruction Veins that pump with fear Sucking darkest clear Feeding on your death's construction Taste me and you will see More is all you need Dedicated to How I'm killing you Come crawling faster Obey your master Your life burns faster Obey your master Master Master of puppets I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams Blinded by me, you can't see a thing Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Needlework the way, never you betray Life of death becoming clearer Pain monopoly, ritual misery Chop your breakfast on a mirror Taste me and you will see More is all you need Dedicated to How I'm killing you Come crawling faster Obey your master Your life burns faster Obey your master Master Master of puppets I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams Blinded by me, you can't see a thing Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Master, master Where's the dreams that I've been after? Master, master You promised only lies Laughter, laughter All I hear and see is laughter Laughter, laughter Laughing at my cries Fix me Hell is worth all that Natural habitat Just a rhyme without a reason Neverending maze Drift on numbered days Now your life is out of season I will occupy I will help you die I will run through you Now I rule you too Come crawling faster Obey your Master Your life burns faster Obey your Master Master Master of Puppets I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams Blinded by me, you can't see a thing Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master

I like this song because of Metallica not because of Stranger Things but it's cool to know that it's in there

Loved the extra "pinch harmonic" in the Stranger Things version, (you will know what I'm talking about), but then, there's the real stuff, love you Metallica, keep going forever.
