I have deaf children. Seeing the ASL Interpreter (1:00 in) meant a lot to me. The way those who are deaf hear music is fascinating. A strong interpreter adds a connection to music the hearing may never have. Thank you, Metallica!🤘

But do deaf people really enjoy concerts? I mean, is music even a fun thing to them? I can't understand that, maybe because can't relate... I don't mean to be disrespectful, just interested.

@@bennossturmos3924 Great question, and no disrespect. 🙂 I can't completely relate, either. But my children and our deaf friends enjoy music very much! One friend of ours was in dance in HS, she felt the music through the floor. They hear the music through their sense of touch…like holding a BT speaker…you can feel the sound through vibrations created by the speaker. Since the speakers at concerts move a lot of air. I'm going to guess the deaf attendees (being so close to the stage) can feel the sound around them. I'll have to let you know what my kids say after we see Metallica and The Warning live…one day! 🤘

I cried several times during this set. First time seeing you guys live. My father grew me up on Metallica, pantera, Dream theater, etc… he had a heart attack in January of this year and I almost lost him. He is very much alive and well. I cried hearing how great these guys sounded after hearing how godly they were all these years from my dad. I’m 23 years old and my dad says they are just as great today as they were when they first started. Absolutely incredible. One of, if not the absolute most best performance I’ve seen to date. Thank you guys for being there through my dads hard times. The very first time I saw him cry was after his triple bypass surgery listening to “One” by Metallica. Realizing he had overcome death itself. Thank you.

The voice of James so aged like fine wine. I really loved how it became more mature and hoarse after the Load Era, despite how people complain all the time that Load/Reload era was the worst. I have many favourite songs from those albums. Majority of people complain about how old Metallica peaked, but this is Metallica at their peak now. Despite being in their 60’s, they still got that energy! Long Live Metallica! The greatest band Earth is ever blessed to have!
James Hetfield 59 years old ( August 3, 1963) and still crankin' it! Yea!
I love how Metallica has embraced Stranger Things. Seeing Eddie in the background. How the Master of Puppets imagery takes on a upside down look. And listen to the crowd. You boys haven’t lost a step. All those people shouting and singing along. You Metallica still got it. Sounds like Metallica has a new found energy when playing Puppets.

Saw Metallica with Cliff opening for Ozzy way back in April ‘86. One of my greatest teenage concert memories. Great to see how Master was used in Stranger Things. I can definitely say that even though the album had just come out, it was highly anticipated in the metal world and became an instant classic (and all without music videos, which the band refused to do at that time, and virtually no radio airplay). I remember mouthing the words to the song with other fans next to me during that concert. And as a guitar player, I can also say that we were all trying to learn how to play it almost immediately. Back then, we either had to get our guitar teachers try to show us, learn it by ear or wait until it showed up in an issue of the two or three guitar mags that featured transcriptions. The kid playing Eddie did a fantastic job capturing what kids were like then (and kudos to him for actually learning the song! Made such a difference).

I know this song is about drugs, but it helped me get over my masturbation/pornography addiction and for that I must say thank you. Stranger Things made me think about it and I realized I could comment on KZread. “Laughing at my cries” was very relatable because I was too scared to ask family members for help, so I’d ask people online/friends and all I ever was told was that I only felt like it was an addiction because of my religious beliefs. I was constantly tired, distracted, depressed, and I had trouble keeping relationships. I finally built up the courage to confess my consumption of porn to my preist and he suggested praying, meditation, and that I listened to this song whenever I felt tempted. That was how I learned about Metallica and have been a fan ever since.

Welcome to the family! Fan since 1991. From Finland.
I'm 42 and I remember this growing up...it always throws people because I enjoy all types of music and they don't expect me to know anything about Metallica. I love how Stranger Things incorporated it scene and really made you feel it. Timeless!!
One of the greatest songs ever written about addiction. They brought awareness to a subject before our society as we now know it is plagued with it, looking for a solution> Master of Puppets, I'm pulling your strings, twisting your dreams and smashing your dreams, blinded my me you can't see a thing...
6:40 One of the coolest riffs ever written.
