But holy fuck, the songs either have ONE catchy chorus (repeated), ONE catchy main riff, or ONE cool intro - but never more than one good part or riff, nor a single good or memorable solo. It's SO FUCKING BORING! Inamorata has a sweet main riff / chorus from a Load perspective, and gets pretty good after 5:20 with the bass and then guitar harmonies, but there's NO reason for it to be more than 6 minutes long. And those verses, pre chorus and chorus parts are so boring. If Darkness Had A Son is my favourite, simply because the intro is decent, the main riff is catchy, the "temptation" hook is short and catchy, the verses are ok, the chorus is is decent, and the final chorus is pretty good. I don't care about prolonging the simple main riff by making miniscule variations of the chugging part, it's not a cool riff like Master of Puppets pre-chorus or Damage Inc & Trapped Under Ice's middle sections, stop dragging it James/Lars! And that covers the 2 tracks I have the nicest things to say about, lol...
