@rockcastlemusic
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. He lost that sense of rhythm he had in this show. Even if he stopped practicing he should still be able to play in time not like these days when he is always getting lost in the beat that he always has to do fills to compensate. pat thorpey suffered from alzheimers and still could play in the right timing until his body became weak and the muscles could not keep up with what the brain is saying. I'm thinking maybe Lars had some mild stroke and damaged a part of his brain that gives that good sense of rhythm.
One of the photographers captured an image of Jason as he was flinging his head forward. Perfect timing, as his hair was straight up above his head, like Kid from Kid N Play. The shot was priceless, and wound up in the People Magazine article about this show. I sure wish I could find that shot somewhere!!
Lars was such a better drummer back then. look how hard he hits the drums, and his timing is perfect. Today he plays like he's in some Jazz quartet that plays in a lounge to 10 people
