Dude this is amazing- your playing is incredible and I love the little Kirk pics at the bottom 😂 just one question though- I’ve seen the shortest straw solo tabbed a number of times with different more complex phrasing- did you use a tab for it or just your ears? All versions seem kinda similar but are tabbed very different and I’m trying to locate the best one

@@JulienMENARD honestly i love this kind of videos. I play lead and i love seeing what guitarist do live when it's just them and the raw guitar, no backing track, no band, just the guitar. Also kirk just knows how to create roaring leads with not much, just pentatonic licks that we all know

Absolutely, and to be honest he used some licks he don't usually play in his regular solos, so it's pretty new in a way and really interesting to work on it. And i think as you said, only guitar is really interesting, and i think play over backing track is more easy, but when only the guitars... you hear every mistakes or this kind of things, and it don't give you a chance to hide something. That's why i think it's interesting to do my channel in this way, to be more real and hear just the guitars by themselves. for learning, it's really better.

Hey buddy, first thing is to not cut the mids on your sound (this is not a Metallica rhythm tone), add a booster / overdrive, then the wha wha and some reverb or delay when it needs. Just this. (and some practice too !)
