My favourites are: clean solo from Unforgiven, harmony from My Friend of Misery, pre-solo from Holier than Thou and solo from Through the Never. Sadly we've got only last. I haven't been playing any piece of Black Album for 15 years, my memory needs to be refreshed strongly...

@@JulienMENARD Ok)) I'll check those videos, you betcha. I mean, I just realized I can't remember any of solos mentioned, but they were my textbook for studying guitar, my engage to guitar playing. The first song I've learned was Nothing else matters, that's my start. Eventually I've learned all Black Album. Then I tackled to AJFA with official tab book. I just said to myself: I will never play it. Luckily it turned out that I don't have to 'cause this tab book is... something bizarre. For now I've revived my guitar and started to remember some songs. But somehow I skipped Black Album completely. Thus this video is just in time, to complete the loop)))

@@JulienMENARD I also do videos metallica covers for youtube and JH's tone on the black album for me comes from a mark amp not a dual rectifier as they say and I've been trying to get this tone for years and I loved the JH tone that you get in your videos !!!

I don't have Patreon and i don't have the GP files. I have this score (Black Album Solo) available in PDF via the PayPal page in video description (which is pretty better than a GP file)

That's great and all...but are you using 11-49 strings?? I have to say your playing using fingerpicking during the solo for Of Wolf and man is downright masterful!

Hey friend, i actually use 10-46 Ernie Ball (yellow one) on every guitars. For fingerpicking, it just come more natural to me. Thanks man.

This is actually the first solo played by Kirk. The section you speak is an harmony section played by James both guitars in the studio. You can find (as i mention in video description) my full video about MY FRIEND OF MISERY directly on the channel. Have fun with it.
