That’s one thing they pay their guitar techs for. To keep their instruments in good condition after being exposed to weather conditions that aren’t good for them. Extreme heat isn’t good for them either so I’m sure their techs have to do truss rod adjustments to fix warped necks after every hot summer performance.

love how james gets everyone going. this is still the biggest band in the world guys!. Amazing what they have done!

The Ecstasy of Gold intro and Creeping Death is just marriage made in metal heaven… and it’s 1 thing when the crowd sings your lyrics, it’s another level when they sing the riffs

James is THE best ! And still cool. With the fans !

What I love about shows like this. Everybody only speaks one language...... music

This crowd alone tells us this band is the greatest metal group of all time.

it seems that with this kind of stage, metallica doesnt look closer with the audience, they look cold at the distence... like they are desconnecting with the energy of a tradicional concert. Just look to the people... even they look very distance with each other...

@@whamsie4022 yea but, you can interact with vip people off stage, but really, just look at them on satge... the band look separate and the people dont know where to look, the may follow into james, or kirk, or lars, but you look at them separated... even at the begining the band look kind of lost they dont know when its gonna start.. well I really love the band, and I'll hate to seen like this to the band..for me, it doesnt feel the energy that they always gave before!!! even on big stages on stadiums!!!

You're completely right, but with this kind of stage they make more money: 1. the snake pit is bigger (tickets there are more expensive) 2. All the seats in the stadium can be sold. With a traditional stage approx 1/4 of the seats are useless.

I love Metallica and I'm the same age as the majority of the band. I often wonder if they ever get sick and tired of being in the game and touring? I'm in great shape for my age and work full time in construction, but I could never hold their gig! NEVER

Amazing show, it had been sunny all day long and just when Metallica started play it started rain and the band didnt seem to give a fck, they just went out and did their thing.
