Hendrik Tõnisson i was at this concert. So many angry thrash metal heads, including me. But I’ve grown up and now really appreciate these albums. It’s a pity they don’t play that much off these albums anymore

I love how dumb ass people say bands "sell out" because the don't make the exact same albums over and over again.. as a musician I can say if I wrote the same shit I wrote 5 and 10 years ago I'd hang myself...There are very few albums that I can listen to all day everyday and not get sick of it... they have been playing live shows for 30 years... try go put ride the lightning and and kill em all on repeat for the next year and see how much you want to hear it again.. dont worry i'll wait...

Definitely noticeable, one of my favourite parts from it alongside the bridge

So many people say this song is underrated but it isn’t , anyone who knows Metallica knows this song is a stone cold classic. Just because it is not off any of their first 5 albums does not make it underrated. Soooo many people hold this song in high regard

getting to grow up with the same "oh dude metallica are sell outs" belief makes me feel great now that i've given a chance to the "forbidden" albums and see that they have much to offer...they might not carry the same fistinyourface attitude but man some songs really got something to say.its good music.and as a music fan that tries not to be narrow minded i respect that.cheers.happy birthday het!

There are various sizes of cymbals, but the main ones are of course the hi-hats, then there is the the ride cymbal which is usually a bigger cymbal, the crash cymbal which is slightly smaller, and the splash cymbal which you described...it looks like an upside down cymbal with a smaller cymbal on top...like putting a saucer on top of a dinner plate. That's basically the jist of it. I could go on, but there are a lot of types of cymbals as well as drums...but that's it in a nut shell. The ride cymbal has more of a ringing tone to it.

Man, what a great song! It's amazing how they can take a song with a strong country melody and then put a Thrash Metal spin on it. This song proves that us Metalheads can enjoy other styles of music, and keep our Metal roots, such as Metallica has. Great song by a timeless awesome band

Amazing song....

Of all of their concerts, this is far the best on my opinion. And Jason Newsted really did a great job doing his bass on this song , gives me goosebumps everytime I hear this version. 💙

James never allowed him to step up.. so yeah he quits.. as per the the interview James described it as "Metallica and Jason" , they can never forget Cliff Burton as the OG Bassist which they constantly compare Jason over the OG bassist who was crushed to death. ...

RIP Uncle. This was your song. You are a hero to me. Now in Heaven.

1996 and 1998-1999 were his best in this era, he only had a few good shows in 1997 but it was pretty weak for alot of shows

To add an example for your argument, OddYxD, Cemetery Gates by Pantera.

In my younger years (late teens early 20s) i use to hate this song. Im going on 35 and this is one of my favorite songs by Metallica now. I guess i had to listen to the message behind the song to understand it.

All these people attending a live show and not a single person watching it through a 9" screen on the smartphone of the person in front of them holding it up to record a terrible-sounding video. Those were the days. It's live, people. Live it. Keep your phones in your pocket and watch with your eyes without the camera lens.

Anyone here 2022? I turn 22 this December and next year will be 2022; so many years have gone by while music has been created that doesn’t come close to how these guys play. Todays culture is too saturated with shitty rap, I’m a drummer and love all of Metallicas songs but this my friends, is my favorite song from Metallica no comparison.

I love all era of Metallica. From kill em all to hardwired to self destruct. Each album has good songs on them that anyone can go hell yeah. Load and reload has many good gems to st anger has good gems on that too, despite the raw sound that they went on that album. I'm not a hater at all and appreciate each album for what they are.
