Jason has the best sound quality from a picked bass ever ... crisp, big, fat and heavy.

Lars's drumming is soo good on this concert! the sound of the drums is perfect! why doesint he sound like this these days?

mixture of being lazy, lack of practice and having a shitty toy drumkit. like he is still a great drummer at times, but that little orange kits sounds like shit, his massive white kit was the best, and this one is the second best kit

I reccomend you should go to a Metallica show. You'll regret these words, I'm telling you.

iv been 3 times, oh you clearly dont notice it live, his drumming is great. yet when you just sit back and watch from a video the orange kit really doesn't cut it. like compare that to the Black album kit, load kit or even his st anger kit (live kit), the orange one is really kinda plasticy
@DamienBoath

Perhaps look at Seattle '89 and you'll see how woeful his kit sound has become compared to back then.

Lars' snare sounds fantastic in this. You can hear it's probably the same snare they tracked the Loads with.

1989 Seattle, 1992 San Diego, and 1997 Fort Worth were the best god damn shows.
yeahh
I'm the typical 'first 4 albums' guy, and I never liked this period but this is my favorite track from the Black and the performance is sick.

Possibly you hear with only one ear. (It seems to me personally the best stage of Metallica in terms of sound quality and balance in the band) I'm talking about the live shows. I had the opportunity to see them in 1993 and then several times in 1996 and 1997 and honestly I prefer the stage of 1996, the whole band sounded spectacular.
Jason 🔥🔥
Song sounds so good tuned to Eb

yeah, your'e right, the main part of the intro was done by kirk on a sitar. (which he played live on s&m)
@sodiumkid I wasn't even born when the concert was held xD
this was when metallica was there best i mean rob is great and so was cliff (r.i.p) but just this was the metallica that made it big

James is just dangerous
@domanick189 he chucks it away before he he just sings the verse. he doesnt need a pick anyway hes fukcing god!!!!
LOL HOLY SHIT You're definitely right
anyone know how to play 6:12 part of the outro??? post tabs or send me plss
SLOWER BUT HEAVIER
@domanick189 he gets rid of the pick just before the verse where he only plays power chords on his guitar. you do not necessarily need a pick to play power chords, you can do it with your hand which james does here.
i want kirks guitar in this soooooo bad :( so sick
did anyone know that the intro was made on a 12 string bass?
I agree with all the 4 month ago comments man, Kirk looks like the youngest
