It's not in most peoples top 5 Metallica songs. It should be, IMO. Therefore it'll always be underrated. They may be recommending it, but it's never one of the first 5 that people are recommending. Master Of Puppets, Battery, One, Unforgiven and a bunch of others are usually at the top of reaction request lists above Disposable Heroes from what I've seen.

The themes this album dealt with seem well beyond the years and experience of 4 longhaired guys in their mid-20's in the 1980's. Definitely the best Metallica album of all time. When Cliff died, I feel like the heart of the band did too. Somewhere there is a universe where Cliff lived and is still touring with Metallica to this very day. The band didn't sell out to get a bigger chunk of radio and TV time in 91. Load got written and burned in a dumpster. St. Anger and an album without a proper bassist wasn't ever dreamed of, let alone made. Can you imagine running that idea by Cliff? Can you imagine the true follow up to Master of Puppets and beyond? That sounds like a great place to be, I sometimes wish I was there instead of here dealing with what this country is becoming. What I, myself am becoming. Older and getting afraid the world may be finally passing me by. It's nice to see a new generation so genuinely excited about music that has been a big part of my life since I was a kid. Gives me hope, these are great videos to watch.

I’m new to your channel but your reactions are priceless! I love when people are introduced to a legendary band like Metallica. This song is about how soldiers are sent off to war to die. Metallica’s music has powerful meaning despite the fact that their riffs and music are straight up bangers. Master of Puppets is one of the greatest albums of all time and this song is super underrated. It hits home for me as my brother served 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Luckily he is still alive but man this song just hits home for me. Keep up the great content my guy!
