sandspider there are like 3 reaction channels that are really good. This is one of them. But no one ever fucking reviews Disposable Heroes? What in the fucking fuck? Seriously. I was in high school when Master of Puppets came out. We wore that record the fuck out and blew our speakers. Went through many headphones. They’re all amazing songs. But, “Disposable Heroes” is the king. All the Metallica music over the decades, that one still drives me the most. I know many others feel the same way. No one reviews it though. It’s as if they are afraid of greatness, of actually becoming metal heads. They hear that shit and they won’t listen to anything else the rest of their lives.

@Nunya Business Justice is the pinnacle of Metallica musicianship. People complain about the bass, but its lack only highlights the stark nature of the subject matter. Also, any argument claiming Kill 'em All is in anyway better than Justice is laughable. Ride and Puppets are great, but Kill 'em All is a distant 4th of the thrash years of Metallica.

Top to bottom, Disposable Heroes is a banger that never gets its due. Fucking love everything about it. I feel like when I first listened to the album, it fell into my bottom half possibly because its melodies sound almost uplifting or pleasant despite how thunderously heavy it is overall. The rhythm guitar underneath the solo section is a work of art the way it constantly changes and seamlessly gives greater depth to Kirk's shredding.
