It's speculated the song was recorded with a 9-string, because they released a custom 9-string guitar a few months back. Would be one explanation how they get so low with their guitar tones. Unfortunately I don't think the whole Corona situation ends anytime soon with so many idiots walking around everywhere, still "forgetting" to wear their masks in stores. We probably have to wait a few months more, at least in Central Europe, to see live music again. And I don't think a Japanese band will play anywhere outside of Japan again before 2022.

It is a 9-string. I looked up guitar tabs and this is the tuning: Db Gb B E A D G B E. SO DAMN LOW. And true, it most likely will not be before 2022 but Babymetal is worth the wait!

Thanks so much for the information! I didn't know the 3-3-7 was a typical Japanese thing. I'm definitely gonna research that because I love learning new music theory from all over the world. Did you say you saw this song being performed live ? If you've seen them live perform this song you most have been in Tilburg in Feb. this year. A week before the virus came into the city and thus country. I was in Tilburg. My next guitar (after I buy electronic drums) is going to be a seven string guitar... let's start with that first, hahaha.

The MV is indeed a little bit cringe, in a good way 😅, I do understand that after so many live footage, they needed to give their fans a proper MV and this is a good one overall, but it misses the power this song has live! The drum kick after the break is just like an explosion 🤯 I'd have liked better an 8 mile kind of situation, still it's a cool MV, and it's of course linked to the 10 years Anniversary Battle for the 10 best songs! 🤘🦊⚡

I think the music video is pretty dope! Let's be honest, most metal music video's are kinda the same / not interesting. Just a band somewhere in an abandoned factory or whatever, "playing" the song. Might as well have an over the top music video, haha.
