just the captions on this make it epic and sad the context of the anime tho T.T, both Gurenge and Homura are masterpieces well its LiSA

the record version is not just piano, i recommend listening to it as well! it has all the instruments and it’s super energetic

The fact that this song is used as the intro for Demon Slayer is so perfect. Even if you aren't interested in anime/manga, this one should be the exception. Such a powerful message all around. Awesome reaction vid. 😊

I love LiSA, I discovered her through the ska/reggae/rock group SiM, they tour a lot together it looks like ans they've had some duets/features together. I would recommend SiM. GUNSHOTS, Blah Blah Blah, Sandcastle Also a newish artist, Swervy: Art Gang Money, Did It Like I Did (remix)

Ok, first question, Gurenge translates to a color. Google translates it wrong (as usual. close though) it is a red, but more of a Crimson or Scarlet, second that "thing" she has her hand on is her headphone amp/mixer. Ok, it was kind of a live one, it was in a studio and it was amazing. That said there are plenty of live versions here on youtube you can find with an actual band behind her. Like I am sure quite a few have said and many more after me will say Homura is very good and a much more emotional first take for her. I would recommend the first take with Lisa and Uru. As a fellow metalhead, check out Wagakki Band

I do recommend if you would like to see another part of what she sing called homura on the first take also.. you will not be disappointed.

I think she dynamically controls her own mixture of her voice vs the piano in her headphones. Simple enough with a single fader setup to perform like a DJ crossfader.
