LiSA - Homura (First Take Version) is a real tear-jerker

Few facts about LiSA: She writes all her lyrics for all songs by herself. She is the first and only artist in Japan to win Grand-Prix on Japan Record Award with anime song She recently became a mother🥰 I highly recommend to listen her songs: Issei no Kassai, dis/connect, the end of my world, Akeboshi, traumerai and best day best way

To put it simply the channel has artists come to the studio and just perform the song with no warm up practice just the first take and no 2nd attempts. Crazy talent.

"gurenge" is three syllables -- gu-ren-ge. (Some people analyze it as four -- gu-re-n-ge -- but it's technically 3 syllables with one bimoraic syllable.) G is always a "hard g" in Japanese. "ikimasu" actually means "go/goes," not "all right." In this case, it's "Let's go." Demon Slayer isn't... really about a literal battle. Without spoiling too much, it *is* definitely about the main character overcoming his weaknesses in order to help someone else, though.

8:05 on google it says that she wrote "Gurenge" herself so thats Awesome. Her first Anime "Song" which i know of would be "Crossing Fields" an opening song for Sword Art Online.

What I like about THE FIRST TAKE is that you'll experience pure music without any autotune and stuff, and you have to do all of that in just one take so any mess-ups while performing can happen at all times. I think you should also try reacting to other artists featured in that channel.

Seconding, and just adding for ease of identification that we're talking about Hoshimachi Suisei, who has performed the songs Stellar Stellar and Michizure on The First Take earlier this year.

I'm agreeing with everyone saying First Take Homura, it's beautiful...

"ikimasu" literally means "I'm going" or in this case "I'm going (to start)".

Please check out Mari Hamada, she has been singing since the 80's and her voice seems to be only getting stronger! She does write her own music/lyrics. Her sister, Eri, has a voice to almost match her in range. (Maybe less powerful). Cry for the Moon, live, duet stage version. Or Stay Gold Live version.

If you liked the lyrics, you should really listen to TK - Unravel, also from the first take. I would recommend reading the synopsis from tokyo ghoul before listening to the song, so the lyrics make sense.

Lisa is really good and one of my favorites for sure, but you gotta check out Hikaru Utada. She’s pretty much the Madonna or Beyoncé of Japan in terms of commercial success, but even more talented. She’s famous in America for singing the Kingdom Hearts intros, but her catalog is incredible and huge in Japan commercially!

I would recommend you to explore all the first take. I love Kpop but first and foremost, anime song in my first love. Almost most of them had great lyrics. A video analyze anime song said anime song is a journey and the lyrics reflect it also. You will find tons of gems in First Take. I recommend, 1. Mika Nakashima - The reason I thought I'd die. 2.
