Sylosis is such a good combination with Josh and Ali, look at their other bands. Coming together it makes for tasty, tasty riffs. Josh is such a fucking weapon on guitar, I love he keeps the art of the solo alive. Ali has this simplicity with drums that has such a massive sound, so many drummers over-do it a bit, dont get me wrong it sounds sick, but Ali's approach in less is more but with some technical flow is awesome.

I know you've reacted to a song of theirs before, but it's funny you mention Archbleghs influence creeping in because I'm not sure if you're aware, but Josh Middleton is Tom Searle's replacement and even before then, Sylosis always had this Archibleghs/Periphery-songwriting-but-with-thrash-metal-instrumentation vibe to it, and you can see how his tenure in Architects has influenced him even more from Cycle of Suffering-today.

2020's hellscape continues to bear its fruit as it comes to a close. It has certainly been a winter flower for the metal scene. SO many bands using the time to think, write, and reinvent.

Some of the reverb/bass soundscape was a bit spread thin in some places, with silent pauses feeling off. But some of those passages with more layers were incredible, yet easy to parse. Vocals perfect

Hey bro. I just wanted you to know.. because of your tips and lessons I am now begging to become a solid metal player. The way you explain things is just what I needed. Your not throwing music notes and shit at the screen and talking to us like we did 5 years of music courses in College lmao. Your just like here’s how this sounds slow so you can copy, now here’s how you can sound with practice and time. Keep up the work brother 🤘🏼

Surprisingly, tons of Gojira in it! Not complaining in the slightest. The somewhat muted chugs and the "harmonics" (I forgot the proper name). It's so meaty- The main riff, mainly, is what reminds me of them. Sooo good!
