Venom Snake was meant to be an echo of who Naked Snake/Big Boss used to be. After the events of PEACE WALKER and GROUND ZEROES, Big Boss knew he would eventually have to cut ties with those he knew were in his inner circle to embark on his final true mission. It's a mission where he would actively make himself appear to be a global megalomaniac and dictator in order for his meme to overshadow the memes put forth by The Patriots. He was playing 4D chess with The Patriots A.I. system of controls. And he intended to win. But in doing so, his reputation would suffer greatly.

Man, If this game was not finished, it would not win 10/10 from practically all of a specialized review like IGN and Gamespot, besides the fact that after 5 years nothing official was said about "not finished", but about "finished" .

@@alejandro6404 Friend, this is exactly what makes V one of the best in the Saga. All conspirators forget that the only metal gear that was designed entirely to tell the END of the story was 4. The V is, in terms of history, equal to MG 1, 2, MGS1, MGS2 and MGS: PW, just a fact that happened between MGS3 and MGS4. The fact that a piece of history that represents only 0.1% (the battle of episode 51) is not officially shown does not make the game incomplete. Even the game's screenwriters confirmed that it wasn't shown, but it happened in the story line. So I hope that one day people will become aware and rebuild the reputation of the V that they themselves destroyed.
