You’ve had an absolutely cracking day. Three hammered silver coins, something that I thought was a fibula. Last but far from least a hammered gold coin. The bent silver penny I would probably anneal it and straighten it. But the bent gold hammered I would have it looked at before attempting to straighten that one. As you said the fibula looking piece was animal shaped a terrific find as well. That property has many, many, many for days of searching left on it. Congratulations on what you found… John

Me thinks that's a scattered hoard there are not enough other monarchs coinage for a market fair or trading site, generally medieval market sites tend to span 300 years ...great finds!

I find it quite extraordinary when metal detectors go extatic when they find gold, if it were me finding gold coins it would be a very welcome bonus to an existing accumulation of precious metals.

Gold is the ultimate prize when it comes to detecting although I agree with you that it should just be a bonus find, something is to be said when you actually find it. It’s kind of like winning the lottery in a way. Thanks for commenting 👍👍

Argh I have fields like that as well Peter and I know the feeling matey! If it really is a good field then it might be worth just doing it anyway and at the end you might begin to clear sections, not really what we want to be digging though I totally get that. Thanks for the comment buddy 👍👍

@@sadettinsk5840 I took me a while to figure it out but do this… Click “menu” - “subtitles CC” then “English auto generated”. Then click “menu” again then “subtitles” again and select “auto translate”. You can then change it to Turkish 🇹🇷 Enjoy the video 😃👍

You talk a lot but you don't do any work

You definitely find good bits, but it's so hard watching your videos. That out of focus problem in your videos is a real issue. Whatever you find is always out of focus and the background is perfectly fine, or when you do try to concentrate on an item, it goes in and out of focus continually. Massive headache trying to watch, literally massive headache. 🫣
