PvP Sadly in a lot of cases is really hard to balance And SE Is just I think struggling to understand what makes PvP interesting I personally think One of the main issues we have is maps Cloud nine barely even functions for most games The volcano map(forgot the name) is alright but has issues caused by the bombs And even palaistraia is not the best for this Palastraia is GOOD but all of these maps have like 1 or 2 things in common Bad choke points that are heavily dependent on luck to push through Bad randomized mechanics And a structure that is simply too flat and cramped The reason cloud nine barely even functions is because mid is so cramped no one can do anything The problem with the volcano map is that it’s well a maze and there really aren’t too many places to have an actual fight Palaistraia is alright but again it’s cramped Also there are literally no places on any of these maps where a player can gain high ground It’s just not great Also Ranks are badly made You need to be able to rank down This has been my Ted talk

@@shinyhero306 I do think the maps by both design and variety need a lot of work. I especially dislike the strange "notches" on some corners that will literally catch your character while running in place if you're trying to slide around a corner for LoS. I also agree that with the slow server tick system they insist on for combat, the reaction mechanics like bombs and black feathers for wind are far too sloppy to work well and just end up feeling frustrating.
