Okay hear me out….getting interrupted by kids is my life with 3 littles. I have been loving how candid you are with “mom life”. It makes me confident in getting projects or declutters done because I can always take time for the kiddos and come back to it. Thank you for normalizing this for moms like me🥰
“When you said it’s not about it bringing joy it’s about if it fits” I couldn’t relate more

Yes!! As a plus size woman, this statement is so true! If it can spark joy and fit then awesome. For most, I settle for fit.
Okay idea here- if only we could all do a closet declutter and see who wears the same sizes as us and ship it to them for free, like a cookie swap but with our closets.

So I’m hearing we need to start a Facebook page or something???
Well, since you’re talking about your tummy issues, NO you’re not alone girl. I’ve suffered from Crohn’s disease my entire adult life (I’m now 55), and I feel you so much here. I also used to be terribly embarrassed by it, but it is what it is. I am also only 5’ tall, and it is so hard to shop for tiny people to begin with, but add tummy issues with that, and needing comfort as well, it throws a whole ‘nother booger in the mix. My husband and I are parents/caregivers of our 28 y.o. Special needs son, and we’re just now at the beginning of our minimalist journey-31 years together, so much stuff🤦🏻♀️Your videos have been so encouraging. May the good lord bless you and your precious little family. Keep up the good work. Btw-we said yesterday while watching your videos, to be so young, you 2 have really got it together way more than you realize, and again, so encouraging to others. Be blessed! 💜🙏💜
It doesn't sound weird at all! I have to shop for clothes/bras that don't flare up my nerve damage in my neck. Clothing is a main cause for my flare ups. Good for you for figuring out what works for you!
That is how I build my capsule wardrobes for the different seasons. Like pretending I am going away for two weeks and packing accordingly with all my favorites for the season. So much easier to get everything I need and that I will actually use that way. Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴 🍁
I have a feeding tube for my gastro issues and also struggle to find clothing. Please talk about it more! Especially as a content creator you have a great chance to influence companies to make more chronic pain friendly clothing. Love your channel, so much help anyday but especially on low motivation days.

Prayers for your gastro journey. 💕
You inspired me to do a massive declutter of my closet earlier this year, and I got rid of about half of my clothes! I still felt like I had too many clothes in my closet but was getting to the point where I was afraid I would regret getting rid of certain pieces, so what I did is decluttered even more but stored them in my dresser. Since downsizing I was able to hang all the clothes I normally wear in my closet and no longer needed the space in my dresser. A few months later, realized that I only went back to pull out about 3 pieces, so felt better about actually getting rid of the rest now :)
I can’t imagine the pain you’ve gone through/are currently experiencing with abdominal migraines. I’ve dealt with stomach aches my entire life and it got to the point where I’d have daily pains that would last hours 😭 it was embarrassing because my flare ups would happen before work and I’d be embarrassed to tell my managers why I was late so often. i don’t fully understand the science behind why, but I went to a gonstead chiropractor for neck pain and my stomach aches went away (they’ve been gone for 4 weeks) ever since my first full body adjustment. (From my understanding, your GI is near the spine which is important for your central nervous system, so when that gets adjusted, it can positively affect the surrounding areas). It has been such a relief for me that I hope and pray you will find something that works for you to take away the pain ♥️
I decluttered too much last year and actually had to fill in the gaps in my wardrobe 😳 but I can say I’m at a very happy place with the cohesion and flow of my choices, what I have and how seamless my fall wardrobe slides into my summer wardrobe. In the Midwest we still have some warm weather, so I can slide on a cardigan over tees for now and I like to layer anyway so my whole wardrobe sticks around for the winter. Worked hard to find the right pieces but I’m excited I no longer have to buy again!
Natalie, your positive energy always keeps me watching! Ily
Keeping me company while I finish off my assignment (12:10am) and bringing all the inspo 🥰 Thanks Natalie!!
I so look forward to the inspiration I get from your Monday morning videos. Have a Blessed Day! Loves from Canada
I love watching your decluttering videos. Your color story is so inspiring.
Love watching your videos every Monday! I feel like I'm with a friend cleaning or chatting while you clean!
I love your thoughts process and declutter videos too. Inspiring to me that I have gone through my closet and going to go through it again.
Love your videos! Always so beautifully put together and I just enjoy the calming, cosy vibe! 💜 Also super excited to hear your life update 😍 much love to you and your family xx
Thank you for the motivation! You amaze me how you can declutter like you do!
I love your videos Natalie❤ So motivating, relaxing and cozy❤☕🍂🍃🍁
These videos Are always so fun. Thanks, Natalie! :)
#premiergang thank you Natalie! Love the transition to fall wardrobe 💕 It needs to fit cracked me up. Bright blue skies and crisp cold morning here in the east uk!
Finally catching my breath after a LONG Monday morning - got my afternoon iced coffee in hand and ready for all the fall closet decluttering motivation! 🍂
Totally can relate to you in this video! I too have found myself with my stomach and gut issues moving away from tight pants and material and going for the comfy but stylish pants 🙂 I also love having a minimal wardrobe of things I love especially in the fall cause it just makes you feel so good and fall clothes can be so fun to wear and be cozy in!! 💕💕
I just went through my closet too. I’m loving the minimal capsule style!! It’s so refreshing to walk into my closet and know that everything fits me.
I enjoyed this so much! I’m definitely inspired to get some decluttering done this fall, thank you! 🍂🧡
Yesss. Got my cinnamon bun, hot cup of coffee, my wee newborn beside me watching this video - thank you for being a part of our Monday!💕
This was so helpful and motivating!
Your channel is always my favorite, you are so relatable! I always get lots of inspiration for all things home and kiddo related.
Omg yes!!! It needs to FIT and be comfy in my case I will not keep anything I feel uncomfortable or make me feel bad about how I look. Tfs!!! Love decluttering while I work 😊❤️
So close to 300,000 Natalie 🎉🎉🎉. You absolutely deserve it. Such a talented editor.
I completely understand the tummy issues! Those linen shorts I live in! I live in Texas so they were amazing. You are not alone with tummy problems! Love watching your videos.
This is a task for me at the weekend too, thanks for the inspo!
Just watched your “make home and life cozy” video. It was inspirational and encouraging. I find your personality and tone so calming. I really enjoy all your videos. Thank you!
Here in Pennsylvania its about 70 degrees, partly cloudy with a chance of rain. The nights are cool and great for sleeping! Fall is my absolute favorite! I love your channel Natalie!
I like the title Messy to Manageable! Thank you for always showing what is real in your life and making everyone feel relatable! 🥰
I’ve dealt with fluctuating weight this year being postpartum and I can feel guilty for things I purchased that no longer fit or I don’t feel good in. So I appreciate you being real about things you got over the summer that didn’t work or you didn’t like, and just passing it on!
I really like the reverse clothing declutter! What a great idea. Thank both of you ladies!
I’m so inspired! I need to do this! Love the parameters you use! Great video, thank you!
I cleaned out my closet right along with you! I had a few pieces that I had been thinking needed to go and they finally made the cut! Also, thanks for the Get Out Of Your Head book rec - such a good book!!!!
I love watching your videos and love the coloring of your wardrobe. Wish I could find more clothes in those colors.
definitely gonna try out finding the favorites and go from there.. , thank you for inspiring me ☺️❤️
So glad you shared about your health needs with waistbands! I had similar needs this summer after my urology surgery. I had to work around a 7 inch vertical scar and it made shorts and pants so hard this summer!
Thank you so much for being so open about your health struggles and how that changes your wardrobe!! I can completely relate. I have Celiac disease and (as of yesterday) I’m going through the process of (hopefully) ruling out Crohn’s disease. It has been a big struggle with clothing and I find myself wearing dresses 99% of the time because pants are just too painful. Thank you for being so real and helping me feel happier today!
Thank you for sharing your heart and being real💚🧡
Thank you for sharing about your chronic pain. Your life looks so perfect, it's comforting to know you're one of us too ;)
I'm in the mood to clean my closet today! Inspired 🦋
You are so inspiring. Being able to see someone’s wardrobe of the season had made me wonder: I don’t need all those clothes for the occasion that never comes! I am SO doing this! Thanks to Dawn’s inspiring video too!
Your last deeper declutter related to health fit and triggers got me moving thank you! Same as you I just did fall switchover ( Canada beautiful fall imminently snowy). I think your sharing your process and health clothing needs helped me support my own. This fall changeover was so quick! And yes being in my 60’s now I used to wear those jordaches and had no hips (styles of the 70’s and lasted a long time). It’s the era.
Hi Natalie! How are you? Fall is my favorite too! I have been ready for Fall since last Fall.😜 Love your videos❤️ Hope you have a great day!
aww Natalie, I hope it is good behind the scenes things going on for you and your family. Prayers for you if you are struggling.
Wow wow wow I also have abdominal migraines and I've never known anyone else to have them! I genuinely appreciate you mentioning it in this video. It actually meant a lot to hear that I'm not alone in the diagnosis!
Doing my fall wardrobe tonight! Yesterday I put 100% of my seasonal clothes in the same closet and will pull out my favorites like you did. Waaaaay too full right now!
Love your chat and declutter videos! Actually all of your videos 😍 also those colours in the shirts you have are beautiful! Fall has hit us here in 🇨🇦 even hit negative digits this morning for school drop off, so chilly 🥶
Hey I’m in the PNW too! I just came across your account and you inspired me to get rid of half of my clothes!! You’re amazing!
Now I have to go get rid of few things from my closet that I have been putting off for a while now. Thank you for the inspiration
I need to do this 😅 thank you for the inspiration, friend 💫

I like the color palette for your fall capsule wardrobe
This is my second year off at college. Last year I brought literally anything I could think of bc I thought I might need it. This year I only brought clothes that a wear on a regular basis and only the essentials. My life has been so much less stressful with less stuff to deal with, and I'm lucky enough that I am financially stable enough (thanks mom and dad) that if I discover I really need something I didn't bring with I can go buy it.
I support your sharing of health issues. You are an inspiration to us who stay positive when there are reasons to go negative. I, myself, have spinal issues that dictate SOOOOO much of my clothing and even hairstyle choices. It is good to know everyone struggles. It is even more of a blessing to know that others make the choice daily (or several times a day) to not be sad, but focus on what we have and make life simple and purposeful and happy!!! God Bless!
Natalie, what you said about health and pain management really hit home for me. I have joint & muscles problems which mean that I have to (among other things) wear flat ‘barefoot’ shoes which most of the time are pretty ugly 😨 and being a reformed shoe fiend, I have been beating myself up for buying different winter boots and then having to resell them if they don’t fit right.. Point is, you’ve reminded me that my health and intentional living should not be in conflict, if I need to try different things to keep myself as pain free as possible it’s OK! I also live on the north west Atlantic coast in the UK and several pairs of really good boots are a must for most of the year ⛈⛈⛈ Thanks for the reminder to be gentle with myself, your channel is one of my above faves! 💕😘
I would love to see a week of outfits with your fall capsule, your pieces are so cute! ❤️
Hello from Maine 💜 it has been cold and rainy here most days. I’m excited for fall but way behind on pulling out my own cold weather wardrobe. Thanks for the dose of motivation. :) #premierefam
It’s cloudy with some crisp air today- lots of rain coming this week. Pulled out my sweater this weekend which was perfect! #premierfam
Loving watching this video on a dreary yet humid morning. I need some inspo to do my next declutter. #premierefam
I have IBS - similar needs to not have pressure on my belly area. Totally makes sense and finding something that doesn’t trigger issues and looks good is well worth some extra purchases.
Bless your heart with your health. I have a 10lb weight flux with GI health issues. Periods of fasting for healing & relief. Trying to slay some SIBO right now and working on how much i can eat per day. Ketosis eradicated my migraines so I hope you find something that helps you. Those are so difficult. May the Lord lead you and bring you wisdom and healing. You inspired me to go thru my clothes again. I like clothes that I can wear thru my weight fluctuations, bloat, and leg edema flares. Been getting rid of items that dont work when I’m in a flare. Its just more peaceful. 🤗 God is healing us everyday. Thank You Lord. 💕
Greetings Natalie, just to let you know the 🐢 dig herself for the ❄️. Have fun with the wardrobe, love the colors.
I also have gone through quite a few pant purchases over the past few years due to pain and health issues. It's nice to know I'm not the only "minimalist" who does, but I'm sorry to hear you have migraines!
Love a good capsule wardrobe and closet declutter video! I’m north of you in BC and 8 am it was 8C which is 46.4F. Nice and cool and cloudy. Perfect fall weather. I have occasional chronic diverticulitis attacks and I hear you with the waistband.
Cloudy and just a tad bit chilly here in southern Minnesota 🍁 perfect fall weather, excited bc I get to start using my sweaters again! ☺️ #premierefam
The weather here in New Jersey is 70’s and rain 🌧 loved watching this! #premierefam
I have those linen shorts in several colors. I love them!
Rainy and gray in Connecticut today, listening while I work. Always enjoy your vlogs, continually working on decluttering more #premierefam
I've seen you declutter your closet many times, but this time giving the explanation with your specific health issues makes it easier to see why you have had to constantly try new clothing pieces and declutter them out so soon after buying them. This has made me want to go through my wardrobe again. There's a lot I hung on to buy did not reach for or found uncomfortable the last time I wore it. I'm going to attempt to get down to 30 or so items too. I won't count jackets and probably not shoes. But there are several shoes I wear 1 or 2 times a year (or being honest, once every couple of years) that I've been hanging on to. I'm going to find alternatives that I can use more often and get rid of several shoes. I am going to give those rothys a try!
When I get a notification that you have downloaded a video, my happy time begins 📸❣️🍊♥️🥳😘🥰.🤩❤️
I got hooked on online shopping because of the boredom and isolation of lockdown. I’m still limiting my outings to necessities, since February 1, 2020. I need to do a big wardrobe declutter of the older items. I also had a big weight loss and style change in 2019, so the older stuff must go. I need inspiration to get moving on this before clothes take over my house!
Love the colors on you!
Hi Natalie! Idk if you remember me from co-op all those years ago… anyway it’s inspiring watching your “minimalist-type” videos and to see how your channel has grown! I watched it several years back when you were documenting the twins’ pregnancy and so forth, and then recently this past year or so I found you again and love the minimalism theme! Fun watching your video this morning! In Boulder Colorado it is sunny and 61, warmer than the last several days. :) #premierefam
Thanks for sharing your GI issues! I have never heard about this but have struggled with abdominal pain my entire life with no help in a diagnosis. Flair ups are never consistent with foods and my son now has the same types of issues! I’ve cut gluten and dairy over the years but still flair up. Thank you so much for this insight!
Not weird at all! And you are not alone! Saying prayers for you!
Yes, you're not alone🖐
Look forward to these every season!! We have 80 degree weather-_- in SC and I'm over it lol. #Premierefam
Loving the if it actually fits in the drawer and not stuffed! That used to be me…stuffing everyone in! I’m going to try this method this weekend. Thanks again!
Hi Natalie, when you shared that you have trouble finding pants that work with your GI issues, I almost started crying! Finally someone else who has the same issues as me!!! I have never met anyone who shared the same troubles in that regard and it felt so good hearing it. Thank you for sharing and making me feel better about struggling so hard to find pants that work. Can't wait for your life update, I have been so curious to hear whats going on.
I love the colour palette of your wardrobe. Everything, even the denim, has nice warm tone to it and it suits you so well. I hope to build a wardrobe with the same palette one day.
The women's section of Patagonia has a jacket like that, it's called the "fjord insulated flannel" I think. I love mine, I have the gray one. They actually have them on their web deal section last I knew for a bit of a discount. They are like light jackets/heavier sweatshirts. They might be similar to the mens jacket if thats what you are looking for.
I love these videos. I like your wardrobe and it’s helped me pick my own pieces for myself haha also it is a quintessential rainy day today here #premierefam
I hear you girl, here in Panama we don't have cold or hot seasons, we just have dry and rainy season and that is something that helped me declutter my closet. I ended up with 35 pieces hanged and 30 pieces between underwear, shorts and bathing suits hahaha... but I am sooooo happy with it... thank you so much for all your great advices.
Great video, highly relevant for myself as I'm moving. I'm trying to capsule my whole wardrobe as a whole, and I realise that my biggest challenge is reducing my summer stuff. Summers can be as cold as fall in Norway sometimes, so my goal is to have a wardrobe that is very fluid across the season. I'll keep tops one drawer for seasonal sweaters/summer tops and shorts and then reduce hard in my dress selection. Many pretty dresses that don't fit that I've never used..
So excited to start wearing sweaters! It's been nice and drizzly in the morning and then then sun has been peaking out it the afternoon. I love the best of both in one day! #premierefam 🤎
I need to do this too! We’ve decluttered several times but sometimes just haven’t decluttered enough it seems like lol. Need to get rid of a bunch of clothes and buy a few pieces that fit well. Have had weight issues with thyroid and pain issues with fibro so I feel like clothes are always a problem for me. Thank you for your inspiration! Truly the best on the internet and have loved it since the beginning. 💕💕
Hey Natalie! I am a newbie to your channel! 🤗 I've only been subscribed for about a week or two but already you have inspired me!! I am a very neat and organized person but it has felt so good purging what im not using!! I do only have a very small apartment but its crazy how much I've accumulated in a short time!!! I too am very petite! Well lets be real, im short! Im only 4"6' so I get having a hard time finding pieces of clothing that fit!!! I loved the reverse method of purging your closet!!! Its brilliant!!! You are a breath of fresh air!!! I love that you are real and share your heart!!! My lifestyle is very different then yours! I am a single 47 year young woman(hoping that God has a husband for me still) :), living in a basement apartment! But your content is so awesome!!! Its fun, real life and so well done!!! We do have one thing in common.....Jesus!!!!💕 I too am a christian, with a growing personal relationship with Jesus!!!! Thank you for including Jesus in your videos, standing firm with your faith as a priority and that you couldn't do life without Him!! You are beautiful inside and out!!!! So blessed that I stumbled on your channel!!! Looking forward to more Natalie videos!!!! :)😊
I am also just 5’ and am curvy so it’s hard to feel good in so many of my clothes. I’m going to declutter using this method so I’m left with the stuff I love to wear. Also I feel you on the elastic band shorts. I have endometriosis and am always super bloated and in pain from it so structured pants and skirts really hurt. Have a great day! I love your channel and am always inspired to make my home better and more cozy!
The weather is sunny, breezy and finally cooling off (high 80s in the afternoon/ 60s in the morning) here in north Texas! #premierefam
Love ur decluttering it gives me motivation. #premierefam the weather is cool in the mornings and hot in the afternoon.
Really love your videos ❤️ greetings from Germany 💞
I got 4 pairs of the old navy linen shorts. Cause I just love them!!
Loving your videos Natalie, I am new here to your channel and have being enjoying since I have become a new Mother. All the way from NZ. Keep up the great work! :)
I'm not sure if I'm the first to suggest it, but I would love a video about your tips and tricks for good clothing for inner abdominal issues. I also struggle to find good clothing for my GI issues but I've always been a seeker of comfortable waistbands and the like during my period as well! Love your videos, I'm excited to try the capsule method for myself.
Oh my gosh "the random bra pad" made me laugh so hard!!!🤣 you are so cute 🧡🧡
