Well done! Lovely. I’m a potter and retired, but although my partner does most of the cleaning and all of the cooking, I have a pottery shed which had got so dust and full of cobwebs that I haven’t thrown any pottery for 10 months! I do other art by the way and manage to keep my other studios quite tidy, but only after having a massive clear out in January. I went into the pottery shed yesterday and gave it a good clean, it only took about an hour and was so relaxing and today I actually got some throwing done. We build these things up into huge barriers in our heads, but the only way is to break down the barriers and make an effort to do it more often. Love your videos! Take care x

You know, I don't think you're a naturally messy person. I used to think this about myself too, living in apartment after apartment and never getting on top of anything even wirhout kids. Even when my fiance and I both went all in everyday we just didn't seem to be up to the task of keeping a tidy home. Until we bought a rather spacious house. The transition into actually having space to live and space for things was amazing. Getting a dishwasher sure helped too. I just think us as humans aren't meant to live in these tight little spaces like apartments and rowhouses and "space efficient houses" today are made into, we're meant to have room for trinkets and life and play. You keep a lovely home despite the lack of space, I hope you're proud of yourself and your family for this.❤

In case your knees ever get bad like mine, I highly recommend getting an original Swiffer. They are the perfect size for using a cheap washcloth and you can spray any all-purpose cleaner on spots and use the Swiffer to spot-mop. It also works on walls and ceilings and windows, including the inside of the car windshield where it's hard to reach (especially with short arms). It's a very budget-friendly option, as you can wash and re-use the wash cloths indefinitely, and you can use specific colors for certain jobs, like blue for windows and white for floors (which you can then bleach if you like). Watching your videos gives me comfort 💜 I absolutely adore your accent, but most of all you remind me that it's ok to just be human. I have Bipolar 1 disorder, which can be very crippling. On my "off" days I can't bare to think about cleaning or cooking or anything. But when I'm manic I clean like a crazy person 😜 There's just nothing balanced. So depending on the day and my mood, my house can be super clean or super messy. Thank you for humanizing mental health issues for all of us who are suffering 💜

The cycle you talk of is so relatable and frustrating. Specifically in this home we moved into a few years ago, I have had the hardest time with keeping up on laundry/anything upstairs. I've always lived on one level, and I almost forget there's more upstairs for me to do. But just keeping up downstairs is a huge task and by the time I'm done and it's good, I go upstairs and I'm like "noooooo!"

I absolutely love when Remi grabs the soapy sponge, lifts it up, and squeezes the suds onto the dishes or counter. 😊

This is exactly how I am! I've tried focusing on one room a certain day of the week and then all rooms at one time. I still can't keep up. It's only me now that my husband died last year. You have such a caring voice and it totally calms me down when feeling overwhelmed. I am so happy I found this channel! Thank you

I’m in love with your channel. I really love your voiceovers and how grounded, humble, and self-aware you are. It’s so refreshing from all the narcissistic content on KZread. I watch a few other cleaning channels in my moments of weakness where I feel overwhelmed with task paralysis, but when I watch you and hear you talk about similar issues you have, it makes me feel not so alone. I know some people suggest you get a dishwasher, besides the cost, I am here to tell you I had a dishwasher but still had a sink full of dishes and a messy kitchen. With kids it made it very messy. When I got rid of massive things it’s much easier to keep clean. Give yourself grace. Unfortunately I didn’t get my mess together until my kids were grown and moved out. I say that because to give yourself grace. You are doing the best you can. It’s not easy but at the end of the day your kids are happy and healthy then it’s ok. This probably is coming across wrong, I am not trying to insult anyone. I lived like you when my kids were little and I didn’t understand why I couldn’t keep up. Having autism and adhd we think differently, some people don’t understand. I love you honest videos. Wish I had these when I was younger

About the room looks like a burglar went through 😂 I left the other day and the house was so messy that I thought if a burglar would come in he would leave immediately thinking someone else went through everything already before him😂

I can really relate to the struggle to keep atop of the messes of daily life. I always feel so defeated when the mess takes over my house again and I dont even have children! Your commentary that you share during your cleaning is just wonderful. You have so many helpful insights into your process. I also really enjoy your home.
