I love when you do the chats at the end. It just makes you real and relatable. We do take our channels serious and care a lot about them and that's why it matters to us when we go off the grid for a while. Others may not get that. I appreciate the chat and I hope and pray for health and positive gradual changes for you and your family. 💕Tfs

I typically have little patience for the clean up videos & channels here mainly because the hosts seem to be preoccupied with making the videos flashy & unreal. But you totally changed that for me!! I absolutely love your channel! I just discovered it today & what I love is everything is so real, so manageable & mostly, it's just so relatable. I don't find anything disingenuous about you or your channel & I LOVE IT!! Thank you for the motivation & your "keeping it real" attitude. I'm definitely subscribing.

Hi! So, I'm new to your channel but I feel quite a bit indebted to you, really. I struggle with several mental health issues that just suck the motivation to do anything, let alone clean, right out of me. I don't think I've cleaned my bedroom in at least two years. I don't have a healthy relationship with cleaning, either. I'm looking to change that. For the last several days, before I begin work on tackling this disaster, I have been watching 1 or 2 of your videos. I have to say that they really put me in the right mindset to get things done. You have become the catalyst pushing me to do better. I have, so far, made myself a weekly schedule of two small cleaning and organizing tasks each day and nearly completed work on my closet (just getting the trash and piles out from the floor and removing items that don't belong on my closet shelves). Your videos have really given me a level of hope that it IS possible for me to make a sustainable change in my life and living space. Thank you so much,

I'm right there with ya, Skye. Clinical depression with anxiety disorder. It's so hard to get up the desire to do much of anything. I'm so happy I found this channel as well!! She's so bubbly, even though she's dealing with so much in her life at the time of this video. Wow! I can fill half a garbage bag and purge 21 things a day 😄 I'm actually excited about cleaning and making my living spaces open and happy places for me to enjoy rather than sleep to avoid 😊 hang in there!

I feel like when your mind is cleaning up you are more eager to get up and clean up the house as well. Don't be so hard on yourself and take breaks as often as you want. Somedays when I am feeling very unmotivated I will clean for 10 minutes then take a break for 30 minutes. As long as it gets done and you have some time it will be okay. Don't consider it a chore just consider it "me-time" because when you finish cleaning you will feel amazing. And don't worry about throwing things out. The less things you have the cleaner your house will stay! :D

Cas, you never lose your ensemble of humor! I am a RN and worked in the ED over 18 years. I also was an IV Therapist for 8 years. Believe me when I say Milo should never had been stuck 10 times. They could have given him subcutaneous fluids. For fluids, kids love jello, puddings, milkshakes, Italian ice, sherbet etc. which are cool and soothing going down! When a child has a fever, their fluid requirements are so much greater. I agree with the others and you should call the hospital and speak with customer relations. Hoping Izzy is feeling better. Housework will be there tomorrow my friend. Take care of you and yours! 💕

I'm so sorry to hear what your family has been through lately! I'm a nurse in Australia and i have to say, at our kids ward, I have seen the same kind of practice... wrapping the child and keeping them stable while trying to get an IVC in. The only thing is that when the child becomes that distressed, I have seen them stop straight away! and try again later. You should write a reflection of what happened and send it to your hospitals complaints department but also, you could contact the nursing unit manager direct, and just tell them your experience. You could do it in a non aggressive way, but it's good for ALL nursing staff and medical staff to hear and improve their practice. I hope Milo is on the mend and take care of yourselves! Xoxoxox

I have come across many declutter and organizing people on youtube but I think I have found my favorite. I love how real you are. I have 8 kids myself and watching a video from someone who doesn't have any and things stay put when they put it there, makes it kinda hard to appreciate their expertise, suggestions or even help. I see me in you, when life happens especially with children as it does, it's nice to know how to keep a home and still make it through that day's storm. Your personality is infectious, uplifting and makes keeping a home a joyous occasion (Ok. I won't go that far just yet) Thank You!

I am so sorry to hear about all your families issues - as a Mom of a special needs child, caring for our little ones can be be utterly exhausting and emotionally draining. The last time my son had to have an outpatient procedure he had to come home with a prescription for the dreaded antibiotic which he HATES, This time around I just didn't have the strength to fight him in taking it, so we made a deal - after every dose he swallowed with no fussing he got to say the phrase "this medicine tastes like shit". At 9 years old that would make him smile, he got a free pass to swear once a day and there was no drama. Best deal I ever made with him. Sometimes you gotta just do what you gotta do to get through it and I hope that gave you a giggle.

Wishing you both all the best, feel better soon! Just wanted to ask you to please remind people to recycle as they run around the house quickly trashing stuff. I know it's faster to toss everything in the same bag, but it only takes a few extra seconds to separate the recyclables. Instead of landing in the landfill, recyclables will get a second life and help keep our environment better for our children and grandchildren.

I just did our pantry last night and threw out three full trash bags of old, expired foods or foods were just weren't eating. I must have thrown out anywhere from $150-$200 in foods. Sad! Either way it's out of my house and in the garbage can. I am so thankful for people like you that can help people like me get motivation to declutter and organize. I'm watching this 3 years later, I've never had such a horrible time with any of my four children (all adults now), you have my sincere sympathy. Your story reminds me of one time in 1979 or '80 when I waited hours in a military medical clinic with one of my infants in an exam room, over hearing commotion in the halls and in another room with someone's child going through something awful. I could tell it was serious by the tones of voices from the doctors and nurses. When the doctor came in finally to see us and apologized for the delay, I said it wasn't a problem, expressed sympathy for the other family, and said that I was just grateful that it wasn't my child having such a serious issue. The doctor looked a bit stunned, and said thank you. I had a serious illness as a child, and remember a trip with my parents to the ER, running a high fever, and screaming when they were going to give me a shot, even though I'd had shots before with no problem. That behavior was out of character for me. My parents just calmly and firmly reminded me that it wasn't something to be so afraid of, and that it would hurt worse if I struggled, to be calm and get it over with. I don't actually remember if that's what I did, or not, haha. So, I was always grateful none of my children ever had a serious health issue to deal with. Now, as adults, it's been another story, haha, but so goes life - you come through stronger after experiences like that. God bless you and your family. 💞

Just starting watching your channel and get motivated listing to you. It's Jan 2018 and I just watched your April 2017 video so want to say I am so glad the Milo got through all his illness and is doing ok now. What a terrible experience for a child, sound like the could have given him something to clam him down before trying to stick him so many time. As a mother and grandmother I just can't image watching my child or grandchild go through all that. God Bless and want you to know I love watching you videos and listening to your stories.

Y'all are in my thoughts & prayers. PTSD could be a possibility after such a scary experience. I suffered from chronic PTSD for almost 30 years with no relief until I was introduced to EFT by a wonderful therapist. I have now been doing it for over 5 years & work as an EFT practitioner with people for all kinds of anxiety/stress related issues. Check to see if there is a practitioner in your area! Blessings to all of you!

If you can stay on track through all that, then I just need to suck it up and clear the clutter. Thanks for being so honest and sharing your life, even the messy parts with all of us. You are one of the worlds best girlfriends. And you have so motivated me to live past a lifetime of genetic clutter. Thanks

I know that this happened over a year ago with your family, but I wanted you to know that have been in that situation numerous times with my family. While my kids are now grown, I went through "hell" when they were younger! I have five kids, so everyone in the house being sick in some way, or having hospital crisis moments like yours happened quite often, as I had two kids who developed asthma from pneumonia (one at only 6mo old and the other at 1 1/2 yrs old)! You truly have me in tears, as I can feel your pain! Just know that I always stay through your videos to the end, even though I'm new to your videos! I also wanted to let you know that you have truly inspired me in so many ways to actually begin organizing!! I'm a "Butterfly-Cricket" and I've learned why I do what I do! Thanks for the inspiration and I hope you're all doing well and staying healthy!! :-)

I am so sorry you had such a bad experience it does not have to be like that and it's not right that it was. I fully support the comment that you should complain. As you said it can be worse, but myself as a nurse I just want you to know that your suffering isn't diminished because it's not severe and life threatening. I feel that way myself, and so do so many other people and while it is true, don't feel bad for your needs to be comforted and helped. I'm so sorry how much all of you had to go through. Thankful for the Ontario medical system and insurance to cover it, but indeed that situation with the IV sounds... well, not right. You had every right to lose your temper. As parents of a sickly kid, we spend too many late nights in the ER getting asthma therapy. We are thankful that everyone is very responsive related to breathing, and other, issues in a toddler and that we have met nothing but wonderful care givers.

I started a whole foods plant based diet a couple of years ago, and have not gotten sick since. I wish I had known this when my kids were young. Your story broke my heart. Your poor son! I realize this video is from 3 years ago. I hope and pray your son (and you as well) has healed emotionally from the trauma of your hospital experience. When you showed your son sleeping I couldn't help but tear up. I've experienced hospital trauma a few times as an adult (and had my tonsils removed as well, when I was 18 and can still remember the pain) and I would never wish it upon anyone, especially a child. ♥️ I really do hope your son has healed emotionally from this experience.
