There was no time for the real ones get any kind of kid gloves treatment as most of them toward the end were being assembled and cobbled together in the forests.

David Damek is undoubtedly a class apart in the modellers community; he's not a professional modeller anymore but rather a Master modeller who belongs to the categories of Mig Jimenez, JM Villaba and many others masters, I have been seeing is progress and he is astonishing the development from a professional to a Master. Time for the big brands in Model Community look at this amazing modeller. Well done again David

In the beginning I thought I'd skip the video at points, but when I realised a masterpiece was being created out of a very basic model I stayed watching in awe.

Outstanding! Love your detail and paint work. Everywhere the exact right amount of sheen. Nothing is overdone and everything blends together to create that awesome "hyper realism". Incredible job on the exposed engines and the wear and weathering! I can almost smell the oil and fuel! Makes a LOT of professional model builders for classic Hollywood movies look like beginners! Just awesome! What is so amazing is as you watch the video and see all the hard, concentrated effort to show how the different techniques are done for detailing, you can't fully appreciate it until you see the still photos and how realistic it looks. Just Amazing and Awesome!

My goodness, this is where most modellers would want to get to... I never got even close, after years. This is a Master Modeller at work...

The last few days I have spent some time watching your videos and I realised you have given me such pleasure that I had to take some time to write you that I love your work. Most of the models I see, even the really good ones, look like well-made toys but your work goes far beyond that. I find every single method you have developed to do things amazing. I like how you always modify the original model adding details yourself, I like how you always spend time to exaggerate the smallest detail (e.g. rivetting) and then how you add by yourseld all the little extra microdetails (eg wires, pipes etc), I like the way you do the weathering and make it look old and used. I think that the main difference of your work from all the others is that you don't use a single key method to achieve high realism. You use all the keys and also, in every single model, you invent and develop your own new keys. Keep up the good work!

I feel that Snap-Fit models would be a good starting point in model making. I'm merely a beginner, my first and only completed model is a Pro Modeler 1/72 Bf 109 G-10 and I feel that if I had started with a snap model, I would've done a much better job.
