I will make two bonus videos for enthusiastic modelers. :-D
what an artist, deep respect
I think i could watch more than 24 hours of this build, every step from start to finish.
Oh my....... The radar takes it to next level or more!
Nice work. I read a book a million years ago by a German Night Fighter pilot called "Duel under the stars" one of the best books I ever read, It introduced me to the concept of "no good guys in a war". He went into detail about the bombing of Dresden which was, without doubt, a war crime.

oh year, the Dresden bombardment... the big problem of talking about this war crime is that there never have been any war crimes done by the US or other allied in WWII. so - by decree - they never existed. but, just for the Dresden case there were reports given by eye witnesses. and there were messages given by some nordic newspapers that illustrated the real story about that night in Dresden. this city - at that time - was a shelter point for many humans, outstanding most of them noncombatants - but civilians. so tell me some one what did the bombers expect to bomb that night? what did the air fighters expect to shot at the shores of the river Elbe? military - really? nope, they got a full hit onto the civilians - and they knew it! and - as i guess - it was intended.

@@rp8133 Yes, you just defined terrorism. Bomber Command (it was the British, not the Americans) were deliberately killing civilians en mass, to demoralise their enemy. It didn't achieve this result. By this stage of the war all humanity was pushed aside. The Americans did the same thing (this time successfully) with nuclear weapons in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Bizarrely these two nuclear attacks were less lethal than some of the phosphorous attacks such as Dresden. Many, if not all, of the bomber crews did not want to slaughter children by dropping clouds of burning phosphorous onto their homes. But they were forced to do so by their leaders. War is the ultimate act of human stupidity. The most stupid part is; the "victor" gets to write the history books and leave out the parts that show they too, were monsters. When you ignore history, you are doomed to repeat it.

You are both conveniently forgetting the London blitz where the Nazis bombed nothing but civilians so what’s the difference? This is the problem with armchair critics like you people who know little about the reality of the situation. My opinion.
We just got back from DC and I got to see this plane in person at the Air Museum. It was quit impressive as is your work. So well done!
Beautifully built HE 219
Beautiful craftsmanship. Your work is awesome and inspiring.
I like this concept of mixing a tutorial with an artistic presentation.
You've elevated a hobby to an art form. Utterly astonishing work.
One of my favorite aircrafts. Thank you!
Brilliant work! The cammo looks fantastic - love it!

❤ Wonderful work, 10 of 10 Points. I realy love the details and your weathering with the Oilpaints.
I am ALWAYS blown away with your ART David! I ALWAYS look forwards to seeing another one to end my day on an inspired and happy note. The only negative is realizing my own limitations, knowing that no matter how 'nice' my models are, neither I or any one else I have seen in my 57 years will ever equal or surpass your GENIUS! Just breathtaking! You should be world FAMOUS!
Incredible detail work , true expertise , amazing kit
What a wonderful cockpit, I do love how you mix colours....ohh that red, that grey as well. Cheers for showing the beautiful stuff of being a living thing....
The cockpit detailing is amazing!

The big metal part - that's famous TAMIYA !!! : otherwise the model would stand with the Front gear in the Air !

I have watched a lot of your builds but this one really stuck out as exceptional !! Well done -
Wonderful work David, especially on the mottled camouflage!
Very impressive...really enjoyed the weathering process with the oils. Great airbrushing skills too- not the easiest camo scheme to take on...and to get it right.
Very good work. This is my next project. Thank you!

Great build, and great to see you do a 1/48th scale aircraft again.
Sweet model and crazy craftsmanship. I still have an He 219 in my stash, and I'd be very happy if it turns out looking half as good as this. Love watching your work.
WOW, Awesome and very realistic model. Like the way you put those extras in it!
Stunning models. You are a master builder.
As always, your work is amazing!
An absolutely beautiful model. I really enjoy every one of your videos and learn so much. Thank you.
Amazing work! Your videos are wonderful...and great to learn! Many thanks for sharing!
amazing build...…...love the way the camouflage was hand painted and the attention made to the antennas. I've actually stood face to face with a messerschmitt 110 nightfighter with antennas and exactly the same camo you've done for the he 219......spot on!
Incredible work.

It does! The only trouble is that's never as easy as David makes it look :D
You are an artist and good teacher. Thanks for sharing
Wow! !! Great job!
Awesome work, as always, David!
Awesome build, as usual I get more pleasure seeing your videos, keep up the good work.
Bloody mind blowing how awesome you did!
thanks for the extra effort of making the landing gear video, nice build overall
Seriously dude, every single video you go above and beyond the call of duty to make a visually stunning and inspiring model. From the scratch building, using historical photos to make sure you get even the landing leg well to look perfect, all the way to using those same historical photos to make sure you the Era camouflage schemes spot on. Dude, I wait with baited breath for each new video and look back through your old ones for even more inspiration for my own projects. thank you so much for your amazing videos and keep up the great work, you rock man
i am impressed, i've seen some of your vids and - all they were impressive. i like the way you construct and assemble/style your models... they are looking so real - wow...
Nicely done, the details on the cockpit are incredible. I've also build this kit 3 years ago, but I use the stencil marking that came with it to make a near flawless scheme, it won bronze at a model and is still my favorite plane I've made.
