    Nice work. I read a book a million years ago by a German Night Fighter pilot called "Duel under the stars" one of the best books I ever read, It introduced me to the concept of "no good guys in a war". He went into detail about the bombing of Dresden which was, without doubt, a war crime.

  • @rp8133

    @rp8133

    5 жыл бұрын

    oh year, the Dresden bombardment... the big problem of talking about this war crime is that there never have been any war crimes done by the US or other allied in WWII. so - by decree - they never existed. but, just for the Dresden case there were reports given by eye witnesses. and there were messages given by some nordic newspapers that illustrated the real story about that night in Dresden. this city - at that time - was a shelter point for many humans, outstanding most of them noncombatants - but civilians. so tell me some one what did the bombers expect to bomb that night? what did the air fighters expect to shot at the shores of the river Elbe? military - really? nope, they got a full hit onto the civilians - and they knew it! and - as i guess - it was intended.

    @@rp8133 Yes, you just defined terrorism. Bomber Command (it was the British, not the Americans) were deliberately killing civilians en mass, to demoralise their enemy. It didn't achieve this result. By this stage of the war all humanity was pushed aside. The Americans did the same thing (this time successfully) with nuclear weapons in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Bizarrely these two nuclear attacks were less lethal than some of the phosphorous attacks such as Dresden. Many, if not all, of the bomber crews did not want to slaughter children by dropping clouds of burning phosphorous onto their homes. But they were forced to do so by their leaders. War is the ultimate act of human stupidity. The most stupid part is; the "victor" gets to write the history books and leave out the parts that show they too, were monsters. When you ignore history, you are doomed to repeat it.

    You are both conveniently forgetting the London blitz where the Nazis bombed nothing but civilians so what’s the difference? This is the problem with armchair critics like you people who know little about the reality of the situation. My opinion.

The only negative is realizing my own limitations, knowing that no matter how 'nice' my models are, neither I or any one else I have seen in my 57 years will ever equal or surpass your GENIUS! Just breathtaking! You should be world FAMOUS!

From the scratch building, using historical photos to make sure you get even the landing leg well to look perfect, all the way to using those same historical photos to make sure you the Era camouflage schemes spot on. Dude, I wait with baited breath for each new video and look back through your old ones for even more inspiration for my own projects. thank you so much for your amazing videos and keep up the great work, you rock man

    Nicely done, the details on the cockpit are incredible. I've also build this kit 3 years ago, but I use the stencil marking that came with it to make a near flawless scheme, it won bronze at a model and is still my favorite plane I've made.
