MERZOUGA, MOROCCO (2023) | Magical Merzouga Desert Trip Overview + Honest Review

Merzouga is a small town located in the Sahara Desert in the south of Morocco. It’s known as the gateway to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes at the edge of town, consisting of soaring peaks of sand that change color with the shifting light of dawn and dusk. The most authentic way to experience the desert is on camelback, including an overnight stay at a desert camp. Many companies offer such trips, but they vary greatly in cost, comfort, and experience. In this video, we will show you our 3-day safari experience so you know what to expect from a camel trek. We will also give an honest review and different desert activity options at the end of the video.

Thanks for the info. We plan on going here in May. Your 10 things to do in Marrakesh will be helpful as well. We appreciate all you do. We have used the information from other videos to plan trips to other destinations as well. We went to Turkey shortly after you released those videos, and we are using your information as we plan our trip to Portugal in a few months. Now we just need you to go to Spain 🙂 We really appreciate the maps in the videos, as they help orientate where attractions are in relationship to each other. BTW, I also had fun reminiscing while watching the Angles Landing video in Utah - a hike I've done six times.

The south of Spain is lovely and you should definitely include Granada, Sevilla, Ronda, and Cordoba in your itinerary. Those cities are just beautiful!

Mostly speeding tickets. Just keep an eye out for road signs as they change so quickly. We didn’t catch all of them and that’s why we got fined. Also, there are many police checkpoints and you really have to stop. Even if you drive 5 km / hour and not stop for them completely, they’ll fine you.

Nice try besides the fact that this is in the territory of Merzouga which is by no doubt part of Morocco, the ridiculous claim of western Sahara is nothing but a Western colonial leftover the Grand Sahara is and was always part of the great Kingdomof Morocco, actually a large part of Modern day Algeria that didn't exist before 1960 and a big part of modern day Mauritania were part of Morocco, I don't understand the idiocy of denying Morocco's sovereignty over territories that historically and factually always belonged to us , it was part of Morocco before colonialism and was cut from our country during those years and once we got rid of the spanish with a historical march in 1975 we got it back , go learn history you ignorant idiot and the rebels in Tindouf besides that there are only few hundreds, they are terrorists founded by Algeria and are living there like cockroaches and always will , I dare you to go the South of Morocco and each and every city there and say the ridiculous things yiu've just said , you'll be first laughed at and sexond thrown out .
