As a 10 yr old I was mesmerized by 14 yr old Donny. I did, however recognize the beauty of Merrils voice. Still love it!

I used to close myself off in my bedroom to find a peaceful place in an alcoholic family. Then... I put the Osmond's albums on, turned up the music, and felt the love they conveid in their songs. This song is one of my favorites that will stay with me forever. Thanks you to all the brothers, if it wasn't for their music I would have never known what to look for when it came to people, love, and how to treat the ones you love. Thank again Merrill, you and your brothers rock. Love & God's blessings from my heart to yours. One last time: Thank you❣

I'm a 58 year old man. When i was 10, Me, Donny and Michael Jackson were going to meet one day and fix this world for God, because we were the 3 best singers ever. But then reaching my 40's i realised it'll probably never happen. Funny how it's still my dream that someday someone will put things right for God, because God needs our help and He can't do it without us. Now Michael's gone and i know it was his dream too, just like i know it's Donny's and always was. Are we gonna die and leave this world so divided still, as it was when we were born, knowing mans purpose in life is to harmonise with nature and turn this planet into a paradise? If i never see that - at least i had the Osmonds. I feel so blessed to relive and hold these cherrished memories. Somebody help Me help Me help Me PLEASE ... I'm so sorry Lord, i cry knowing i'm not gonna be able to make Your Dream come true. But at least WE had the Osmonds.

If anyone ever asks me which singer has the best voice, I would answer Merrill Osmond. SO soothing, and yet so strong.

I agree on Merrill's voice, but for a female singer, i would say that Karen Carpenter had the best voice out there.

It's amazing how young he still sounds!

I feel like he could have been one of the great rock & roll voices along with some of the greats. If only he'd made it to that lane imagine some of the great hits we'd be listening to when enjoying classic rock. His voice is good for the pop stuff too.....but that rasp he has in his voice is captivating.

I was 4 when I was introduced to The Osmonds. That was in 1976. I was in love with Donny & Marie. I had all of the records. Then, growing up, I was listening to 80s pop and then modern rock and later, punk. Then in college, I was exposed to international music (Serge Gainsbourg, Manu Chau, Francoise Hardy, Giorgio Gaber, etc). I started listening to the Osmonds once again in the early 2000s and purchased ALL their CDS. Those are only available in the UK. But I purchased them. All the albums remastered! I am now purchasing their albums on vinyl, once again. Just to relive my youth. There’s nothing like holding the LP in your hands and admiring the artwork, looking at the pictures in the gatefold sleeves. So, here I am. 2021. Enjoying an Osmonds LP spinning on my turntable. Thank you, Osmonds, for all the music and memories. I am proud to have you in my musical library. My favorite songs are: “Sho’ Would Be Nice” off your 1971 LP HOMEMADE. D & M would later cover it on their 1977 LP WINNING COMBINATION. I also love “REST YOUR LOVE” off your 1979 LP STEPPIN’ OUT. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Juan S.

I was 8 years old ! My first concert was at 10 years old! I’ve loved them for a lifetime!

I was an exchange student in London in 1978 and this song was all over the radio. Fell in love with an English gal and we played this over and over. You still sound great, Merrill. God Bless
