Merciless Giant! Even Tyson Didn't Want the Smoke... For a Good Reason - Riddick Bowe

Спорт

Holyfield is 90s Muhammad Ali maybe not sucessfull as him but he never ducked anyone he fought everyone , Lennox Lewis , Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe all big names named Evander Holyfield as best i faced at ringtv. Evander beat 11 world heavyweight champions, the 2nd most in heavyweight history that shows how tough hes competition was and don't forget he started as light heavyweight. Hes really underrated because he retired late and has double digit losses but compared to champs like Tyson Fury he is a real warrior. Sure Tyson has 33-0 undefeated record but he ducks Usyk and didn't even fough AJ , imagine Evander ducking Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis then fighting 0 experience mma fighter lol.

At one time he had it all; all the necessary attributes to be a world champion who would be recognized by all boxing sanctioning bodies. In the end there was some unrealized potential left on the table by Bowe which prevented him from smashing through to the ranks of the most elite and greatest fighters ever.

Riddick went to school in BIrooklyn with Mike Tyson...I remembering mentioning that on TV, and saying "Like everyone else, I did my best to stay out of his way".

That's true. I also read bowe say once that one day he was doin road work and tyson was sitting on a park bench and was teaseing him about how he ran as bowe past. This was when they were bout young teenagers.

Im a tyson fan. But Riddick Bowe blows my mind. What a fighter. Evander and him took it to another level altogether. Evander had a boxing style. It looks like riddick had concrete in his fists. Like Joe Frazier. Holyfield reminds me of another super legend Ken Norton.

Riddick was an absolute warrior and the 3 fights with Holyfield is some of the best heavyweight boxing in history imho. 43 wins 1 no contest and 1 loss is an insane record. Golota I will never understand. The kid had real talent and good power but just had two wires crossed in his head or maybe a couple more 😂

Holyfield is incredibly intelligent, tough, abd talented all at once. You could see these in his quick decisions, endurance, and agility. Even the great Ali and ferocious Tyson cannot boast of Holyfield's dimensions of the ability to absorb and give out deadly punches simultaneously.
