E-Class coupes have always been a favorite of mine, from the earlier to the newest. This W212 model has terrific styling and features, and is as attractive to look at as it is fun to drive. Honestly, was turned off by the newer Mercedes styling until I got to get personal with one of these at work. Love this E class coupe

You totally made the right choice, I upgraded from B8 S4 to one of these. Mercedes has a lot more reliable drive trains.
Yet another classy and entertaining presentation of a classy ass car!!!
Kept me glued to the screen. Very enjoyable and great content.
Note to the ticking from the piezo injectors. I have an E200, same thing, sounds a bit diesel-esque from the outside. Actually sounds like a happy engine. Inside, the thing is so well insulated you hear nothing of that ticking at all. Nailing it to the floor to pass brings hardly any noise at all, and it goes “what’s next”. A very well engineered and built machine.
Wasn’t a big fan of the coupe until I drove one at work while my truck was in the shop about a year ago. Just picked up a 15 E400 coupe a few weeks ago.

Bill, a shout out from Vancouver, Canada. Really enjoy watching your detailed reviews and everything that comes with them. Wanted to let you know that over the past year I have learned about Mercedes coupes from your videos, and last year purchased my dad an '07 CLK350 Cabriolet and then more recently myself a '16 E400 4Matic Coupe. Both amazing cars, and the E400 Coupe is an amazing daily driver. Love them both!
The birds, Canadians and his detailer will one day join forces and bring a can of whupass upon him the like’s he’s never seen lol.

Great review, keep it up! FYI yes there is no special tuning done whatsoever to the car but you do get the same Bosch MED17.7.3 ECU as you would on the ML63 and C63 AMG's of that time. I'm not sure if it's applicable in US models but EU/WDD models get the full M mode as you also would on AMG's (minus the DCT) technology. Not sure also if it applies to US models but the EU/WDD models get sports tuned suspension with Direct Control. All hail Bertha Benz! Hahaha brilliant deduction as well.

There is a difference. With Auto only the Daytime running Lights are activated unless its getting dark or the weather is bad and not the normal light. And only in Automode ILS is working.

Always great reviews and Comical by Bill ( the drug container in trunk. Big gun in door, LMAO) in 2014 I bought a 2011 E350 coupe AMG equipped sport with 18,000 mi over a low mileage 2012 coupe . Because I did NOT like the noisy engine direct injection. Very noisy to me for a Mercedes. By the way My 2011 MB Coupe, other than ruff riding has been trouble free with 35000 miles today 12/2022
