Mercado de Abastos Is My Favorite Place To Eat In Guadalajara
Most guide books talk about Mercado San Juan de Dios but don't be fooled: Mercado de Abastos is the best traditional market in Guadalajara. Mercado de Abastos is the wholesale market where all the other markets go to shop for product. The food court and retail section are amazing. You will find some of the best examples of traditional foods in one place. Plus, this is where the chefs come to shop.

For me the soundtrack at the end is just fine. Thanks for the effort making this video! I enjoyed it a lot. I just went to this market to buy some products, but never stopped to eat. Will do that the next time for sure!

Cheers Matt. A birria with Rogelio, a menudo with Doña Chela or a carne asada with Alfonso and you will be loving life. Don't forget a coffee and a pan de nuez with Clara. Market day is seriously fun. My step dad hates shopping but we have to pull him out of Mercado de Abastos because he wants to look at everything and talk to everyone.

I could do without the "soundtrack" at the end, and more & longer shots of the names & stall numbers of the places you stop at. All in all, a good effort!
