Mens straight to curly hair PERM. DIY step by step
Yerrrrrr, whats up guys and yes this is another one of those perm videos. This a video I've been meaning to upload before I went to Philippines back in April 2019 but here ya go, and if you did enjoy please let me know. Hey guys my name is Marc, sorry I have been mia, this is a video I had filmed back in the end of April 2019 if I'm not mistaken before I took a trip to the Philippines. I had lots of interest and question in regards to the products and stuff I used in my last perm video. So I decided to make another video of a DIY step by step guide to my re-perming my hair after cutting off my last perm ends and starting with my bare asian super straight hair. Again if you guys have any more question please feel free to comment.
Products used:
- Perm Kit available at walgreens for $13usd (Ogilvie salon styles)
perm kit includes all the necessary solutions.
- Pink cold perm rods $1 usd, 5/16ths in size.
- Wide comb
- Water Spray Bottle
Total time:
Rods - 60 min
Perm Solution - 1 hour and 30 mins
Perm Neutraliser - 30 mins
Let hair relax for 3-4 days DO NOT WASH WITH WATER!!!

Ol-gul-vee Yes, you can place vaseline so the solution won't burn your skin. Your sister did a great job & u saved yourself money.

How do you cover the patchez
Can you put product on your hair as soon as you take the perm solution out of hair ? I know that you’re not supposed to wash it for 24 to 48 hours but can you put a lease curling mousse on it?

Damira Jolie I wouldnt suggest putting product in after just conpleting the perm. I would wait 24-48 hours. And yes after perming hair I always lets clients kno to no wet hair or wash for 3-4 days to allow hair to relax

I’m confused I thought you weren’t supposed to get your hair wet for a couple days one perming. But all the instructions box it says to ribs hair after first solution

Yes you should be ok to use head and shoulders after 4 days. But I would suggest to use conditioner for now.

Sorry for such a late response, everyones hair grows different, but I feel like it lasted me about 3-4 months before the straight roots started showing.
If I want looser curls what size do I get plz respond

Yes and no bc the paper keeps your hair together and flat but without the paper it will be messy and won’t have as many curl.BUT,,you can jus cut squares in paper towel,it doesn’t make a difference.
