In this video, I'll be taking you step-by-step through the build of the MENG 1/48 F-4E Phantom II. This Scale Model is a current 2023 release from MENG and is a beautiful representation of the iconic American fighter jet.
I have to have this finished in time for the IPMS Nationals this Aug so I hope you'll follow along as we go through the build

Someone is getting really good at video production. I’m going to donate my ZM Phantom to the show raffle and get this one. I like the drop in fuselage over the ZM spine insert.

Very cool. I’m a car builder that’s slowly getting out of my comfort zone and into aircraft. Curious about the seats, I didn’t see you mention them. Using kit seats or aftermarket?

The seats will be the only after market that I will use..Oh, maybe wheels too.. Anyway I will be using quick boost resin seats and I usually wait to the end of the build to do the seats.
Looks great so far. What kind of double sided tape do you use? I need to pick some up for my upcoming aircraft projects.

I am using just a regular old roll of 3m double sided tape I got at the local craft store.

@@GrumpyModeler Good stuff. I got some from the hardware store a while ago and it turned out to be too strong and left a nasty residue on my parts. I'll see what my local craft store has in stock.
Video would have been that much better with ZERO music. I’d rather hear you breath than hear this same old crap music
