I love mending videos! I think it would be interesting to pick a few per video where you can show in more detail what you're doing - esp for people who aren't confident mending vintage and need a guideline for what they can do. But also you got a LOT done in 6 hours! Bravo! I am dying to see that last dress fully!

I actually have two dresses that are due to a full make over that I intend to do videos on.

I love mending! I even ask my friends and kids if they have any I can do for them. I’ll always remember the first time my Grandsons saw me using the sewing machine. Ages about 3&5 then. They were fascinated. They desperately wanted me to sew something for them. So I made super hero capes for their Stuffed dinosaurs.

Makes me think about my mending projects. Namely fixing a bed sheet for my mother.

Once I get started on mending, I dont mind doing it. I do have most of my pants, capris to do with new elastic. The pants are only about 7-10 years old. 😂 Your video makes me want to go buy the elastic and get them done, saves money on buying new pants, capris. I don't do flys in jeans, so yep I buy those new, besides the pockets are usually worn out by then. Thanks for the video!

A have a big wooden chest full of UFOs und stuff I need to mend... I call it the "box of shame". 🤣

OMG I have a rubbermaid tub of things that needed mending from when my kids were in elementary school. My oldest graduates high school next month...

Oh my yes, the alteration pile is also quite large in my house!

I wanted to learn how to mend, not a comedy and watching the machine going. I need how do you do this stuff please.

It never ends! That is for sure.

I don't know about you or anyone else. But mending is my least favorite things to do.
