Well, I don't know if you've seen it yet, but (spoiler alert) Michael Andrews beat Caeleb Dressel on the 50m butterfly Final. So even if it seems obvious, you still want that suspense.

Yeah I just watched it. I'm definitely with you on that one but, the difference is that the 50 is way more unpredictable. It's honestly anybody's race. But a 200 of a stroke that Murphy specializes in...nah. We know how that one goes. Especially with those underwaters. But still it makes sense for USA swimming to choose a smarter thumbnail.

Bonkgang the sun. I swim indoors all year until the summer and I find it hard to swim in a straight line in backstroke. Maybe if I swam outdoors more often it would be easier. I live in Canada so there’s not a huge window.
