Jakob Ingebrigtsen completed an historic double double after winning the 1500m at the 2022 European Athletics Championships.
He becomes the first person in history to achieve the double double, having won both the 1500m and 5000m in Berlin (2018) and Munich (2022).
At just 21-years-old, Ingebrigtsen won the 1500m gold in a Championship record time of 3:32.76.

@@bendover2743 Monaco last year was probably more stacked. Monaco 2015 might have been more stacked too. There have been plenty stacked DL 1500 fields in history, it's not right to call this one 'the most stacked field' just because you can't seem to remember any notable non-championship 1500s.

Wow! Just witnessed "the perfect race." Following the path of legendary horse Secretariat, Ingebrigtsen starts out last, but not for long, and he wins going away by a wide margin.

Yellow bib means they are the defending champion, and a blue bib means they have they fastest time in Europe at the respective distance

Jakob Ingebrigtsen runs for his life in the last 300m. This is what I have advised him in his facebook no to turn back to see his rivals and no celebration before crossing the finishing line.

@@luispastor8089 I don't care you laugh your ass off and laugh as much as you like but you cannot deny the fact that he did not turn his head and no celebration before crossing the finishing line. All his races before Munich 2022, head turning and celebration before the finishing line are a norm. You can see the effect of no head turning and no celebration, his finishing was so smooth.
