@Uzerina Goog to begin with, I have to say that scholar agreed that, that is not the core of Islam that means yes this can change ANYTIME, because it depends on CULTRE, it doesn't depend on religion. Secondly, you may ask "How could Muslims allow such this behaviour?" The answer is because of circumstances. Before the last 300 years ago the expected life time was between 20 and 30. For example now in Turkey ,where I live, you can't marry if you are under 18. If people die 2 years later the marriage, how can humanty survive? So they married maybe when they were even 12 -This was not traumatic-. Now I ask you "do you allow 12 years old people marry with their owns?" This is why their parents were choosing their partner. To be honest I can't see any difference between now and then in this context, because saying you can't marry now is also one kind of choosing. Isn't it? We always say that because Islam is for whole humanity it embraces every culture but harmful ones for humans in reality.

People really need to differentiate between culture and religion.

That's not from Islam. Media just shows that. Forced marriage is a cultural thing. In Islam women get the power to choose who ever she wants. Even if a guy wants it or her dad, if she says no. No one can make her marry. You can arrange a marriage but if the women is not happy with the guy it's off. Media just lies most of the time

This is Allah’s commandment to you. Lawful to you are all beyond these-as long as you seek them with your wealth in a legal marriage, not in fornication. Give those you have consummated marriage with their due dowries. It is permissible to be mutually gracious regarding the set dowry. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

So I was mentioning that even a person if he divorces his wife he has to pay mahr if he hasn't paid it yet, therefore mahr is never considered as buying of a woman. If you listen the video they say that muslims buy the women probably they are talking about mahr, therefore I was mentioning that...

that's why in Islam it is clearly stated that it is better to marry one and if you do marry more you have to treat them fairly and guarantee their happiness provide the same amount of spending and emotional engagement. this practice started to shelter wives and families of fallen soldiers and divorced women in the first place not for men to go hunting.

Polygamy is not there just for pleasure but rather actually it has higher moral value. Unfortunately what society has done is to make it an excuse for their personal benefits like having a son over daughter, gaining dowry, personal pleasure etc.

Arranged marriage is a bit similar to blind dates but your parents are the ones finding you the dates. You have discussions and conversations in front of family to keep it halal, but of course you can also get some private time together as well to ask each other some personal questions too. And then if you like each other well enough, you get engaged to keep the meetings halal and then from there it can lead to marriage or no marriage depending on what you've learnt about each other.

even some of the muslims don't know certain laws behind having 4 wifes, first of al your first wife needs to reason with it and accept that you will marry a second one and that goes for all the other wives all the wives need to accept it, and financial psychological and not to forget you have to give each wive the same amounts of attention. you don't marry more than one wife in the islam for fun but to expand the Islam it's not for fun in other words. so basically all those rules will make it impossible for most men to marry more than one wife. "why are women not allowed to marry 4 men" according to our religion (i only know one reasoning) you can't know which child is from which man. (please correct me if i made a mistake with proof)

Arranged marriage for my part of country is the is a cultural thing between family tradition not community norm, for my circle of relatives 90% of them marry their own choice. i am 39 not marry yet because my family dont bother me finding one for me. 🤣🤣

Actually in the middle age people used to have like 10 or 20 or even more viwes, that a man can have 4 viwes rule is there to put a limit to this. And it is uncouraged and not recommended to have more than 1 wife in Islam. You also have to treat them both equally. You can marry more than one woman anyway, it's just limited in Islam and stated, because there are so many reasons as to why you would marry another woman also and just because it is limited like that you don't have to have 4 wives. Like you can have 5 if you are not a muslim, if you say you would never do it for your own principles then that shouldn't change once you are a Muslim too. It's just now you can't have 5 or more and only 4 maximum. And I am a Muslim female btw, I would probably not accept if my husband just wanted to marry someone else for his own pleasure. I mean women in Islam have the right to divorce someone so...you can always do it.🤷‍♀️

Did someone said one by one (Korean/maybe?) 0:26 Q4:3 If you fear you might fail to give orphan women their rights, then marry other women of your choice-two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then one or those female slave in your possession. This way you are less likely to commit injustice.

This is really nice, but please have a panel who is slightly more informed about Islam than this one. I don’t know if you’re trying to spread awareness or just have fun but if it former than I would recommend a well-informed panel is necessary
