@katiecreager492 I agree. I am a widower from a 35 year marriage that was built on MUTUAL love, MUTUAL trust, and MUTUAL respect. I seriously expected to be growing old alone. I chanced to meet a woman who has never been married but is also looking for a relationship based on MUTUAL love, MUTUAL trust, and MUTUAL respect. We have been together for two years, engaged for one year, and are working on building a life together based on MUTUAL love, MUTUAL trust, and MUTUAL respect. I agree that it is much harder to build a relationship - particularly for the younger generation - but it is possible. I also recognize that with the growing divide between men and women in today's world it is much harder to find a meaningful relationship.😢

@@SoloRenegade That will change someday if we do not change our ways. Nobody has better job security than a woman in an engineering firm. Don't even have to be an engineer. They are hired, regularly the worst worker in the building, and the first in line for promotions and raises. I was a lead designer for a defense contractor that I am not legally permitted to speak about due to the projects I was on. I was working on a sub project, so while I was not lead of EVERYTHING I did lead the design aspect for this specific portion, placing me towards the worker equivalent of middle management. A woman named Sarah was hired and was placed as a drafter on my team. I was supposed to assign her the portions of my work that were easy enough for her to do, but 2 weeks in and not a single thing had been done. I spoke to my supervisor and his hands were tied. I had to do her work. This went on for 8 months. I would report her twice a week every week because she did a grand total of 0 seconds of work. Not even an exaggeration. I gave her EVERYTHING she was supposed to work on and never even opened the files once. End of year reviews came around. I was excited because I was told I should expect a promotion and pay increase. Had the review, got a glowing review, and moved on. 1 month later, Sarah was given my promotion. By doing literally no work at all, but being born with a vagina, she got to skip drafter 2, drafter 3, designer 1, designer 2, designer 3, and lead designer 1 to go straight to lead designer 2. she got a $127k pay increase, not including bonuses. I stayed in my position BUT still worked the role of lead designer 2 for her because not only did she now not do the work, but she wasn't capable of it either since she never learned how to do it in the first place. I got a $1.07 an hour raise for being cheated out of my promotion and working a second job. We were working on some important shit. Shit you won't hear about for at least 3 more decades and that is shit REALLY hit the fan. Things you should hope you never have to hear of because things would have to get truly horrible for it to even be revealed or used. This is DANGEROUS. I am glad I left that POS firm, but still pissed. I gave so much to that company just to be discriminated against and I couldn't even sue for fear of men in black suits visiting me one night if I gave details on the project, even within court.

In the west it literally is a downgrade and has been for quite a few decades now (on an individual level). Women are in a ridiculously privileged position where they get all the benefits of being women, the benefits of men and the accountability of neither. I have seen women go around making life and career ending choices over and over again (if they had been men) and yet they get no consequences for their actions or more lifelines tosses their way. Men do not have any of these luxuries, and honestly I am tired to have to fight with blood, sweat and tears to get a tenth of what a woman gets handed for free from simps and the government.

I think that's low class behavior in both men and women if you are acting how you described her. I've long given up. Raised a practicing Lutheran and went to a private, conservative Christian college prep K-12 school. I'll be turning 34 in a week. Never had ANY boyfriend, kiss, intimacy, or sex which is pathetic. However, at 15, my life got completely derailed when I got life-alteringly sick with what quickly added up to 15-20 extremely rare complex incurable and intractable pain disorders and health problems that span over a dozen different fields and subspecialty fields of medicine that became my full-time job and literally robbed me of my life--teenage years, college, 20s, and now my 30s. What guy would want to date me when I'm such a burden? I knew at 12 and was steadfast in my decision that I never wanted kids...I'm not maternal and hated when I was forced to babysit a few times for neighbors. And I loved being independent and by myself, but after 20+ years, it does get lonely and my parents are older and won't be around much longer. And I can't physically, mentally and emotionally take care of myself without help and the advocacy that my saint of a dad has done for 18+ years while still doing everything, married to my mom for 40 years, etc. It would've been nice to get married and have a partner who didn't want kids, and had shared morals, values, political (conservative) views, interests, intellectual equals, etc but no guy would take a sick, broken burden like me. Never been and never will be a man-hater or say I don't need a man or men in general. Honestly, my dad set the bar extremely high as to what I'd look for in a man and also what my parent's marriage has been.

Early socialists noted the rising divorce rates under liberal capitalism, and the very issues of hypergamy, infidelity and prostitution we see today which many associated with hierarchy and class division. My last Australian girlfriend once joked about making a false claim of domestic violence against me to the police, ie a life destroying event, if I ever touched her after she punched me a few times, playfully for sure but it was punching. I didnt think the police complaint thing was funny but she did. A week later I put her on a plane back to Australia, she was crying tears of sadness, I was crying tears of joy in that I just saved my self a half a million dollars, a divorce, 10 years of my life wasted and maybe a trip to jail.

About a year ago I read an interesting statistic on divorce. In 2022, average divorce rates in the Commonwealth of Virginia (just outside Washington DC) broke down like this: 1) 49% of heterosexual marriages ended in divorce at 5 years or less. 2) 22% of gay marriages (male couples) ended in divorce within the same time frame. 3) 78% of lesbian marriages (female couples) likewise ended in divorce at 5 years or less. The interesting footnote on this last one though: 52% of married lesbian couples did not make it to their 3rd anniversary. On the surface, it's easy to believe that women are inherently the problem on the count of their feminine nature or mindset. And, frankly, there's a lot of truth to that. In general, guys are just straight-up easier to deal with, and no intellectually honest person could disagree. But you don't see these divorce rates outside the western world. Culture is definitely a factor here, and raising girls to believe that they are just fine the way they are, that they never need to improve, is disastrous. Likewise, going overly easy on them when they do something wrong, excusing them of consequences, and never holding them accountable... as a society, we did this to ourselves. Now constantly beat into them that they are victims, and men are oppressors, and it should not be a surprise to anyone why an entire generation of men and women have been completely poisoned. It's about time that men are finally pushing back against feminist garbage that's gone way too far. Took long enough.

Men and women need each other, we were made to compliment one another, to work together. I love all three of my kids equally, and it’s heartbreaking to raise my kids in a society where my son is told he has no value, and my girls are told their value lies in their sexuality. The metrics are inextricably this: a man's value is his ability to gather resources and create, and to protect his kin, while a woman's lies in their ability to bear children and nurture the future generations while anchoring the males who protect and provide for them. It's a mutually beneficial complimentary system where each is crucial to the existence of the other for the sake of the species. When women say men need to be better...alot of people assume she's saying men are jerks or sleep around or cheat or bad guys overall. However what a lot of women say these days when they say be better.....they are talking about hypergamy standards. Lot of men are average in all kinds of ways but when women complain men need to be better it's because they want men to he better looking, make more money etc etc on a long list of requirements and expectations. Alot of women could make relationships work with a ton of good dudes out there but they want the best of the best always. But they keep selecting the higher ups and soon realize those guys have a ton of options so there not gonna commit and it creates a vicious cycle. Most men are fine with a average woman but most women don't want a average man. That's what she means by be better. Lame

I pointed out the other day when we talk about our future plans (as we tend to do) that we don't really factor women into these plans. We've all got the attitude if we find someone worth while then great, but we've also accepted we may go through life being single and have come to peace with that. Our attitude is that women, good women, are the icing on the cake. But without the icing it's still a good cake. The problem is, since young men are not working as hard because they don't have families and many don't want to do these jobs if they have no investment in society due to not having a family, there's no replacement labour force and that means the older skilled workers are being paid more due to the deficit and many can retire before their official retirement age. There's a reason Ben Shapiro is saying stuff like "It makes no sense to retire." He knows we are in deep.... you know. But! And because in the West men have been so tolerant and supportive of women for decades, these tendencies of women have been allowed to run amok in the age of social media, to the point at which society has been strongly influenced by those who know how to play on women's emotions.

What makes me sad is that literally EVERYTHING a man does is considered harassment and S/A.. I'm surprised Brett never talked about this last year but last year around Christmas people all over Facebook were complaining and saying how the mistletoe is just a way for men to force women to kiss them and how the mistletoe overall is a gateway for men to kiss women against their will and it made me so sad because I'm a huge cliche my whole life I've hoped that someday a guy will kiss me under the mistletoe (I'm 22 now and still want that) but now whenever I find a boyfriend I hope he's not scared to do that in fear that I'll scream the R word or that either me or someone else will physically harm him but i still can understand if he had that fear and wanted to avoid mistletoe alt all cost.. I was joking with my grandma which at this point probably isn't even a joke that my future boyfriend or husband might not want to hold my hand in public because someone might go after him for "being controlling" and believing that I'm in a hostage situation or something.. I don't even think that's a joke anymore because we're at a point in society where I'm sure there are stupid people who will think I'm being abused because my partner is holding my hand when really i'd probably feel safer holding my partners hand in public because i have anxiety when it comes to being in big crowds like it's very limited on places I will go on my own because people are crazy! And it makes me both mad and sad that me feeling safe holding my partners hand could potentially put HIM in danger..

And "well he has to be lying because there's no way a girl/woman can do anything to a man against their will" which is NOT TRUE there are plenty of women who are able to do things to a Guy against his will especially when there's an age gap or an overall power dynamic like the woman being a cop or teacher like yeah most kids and teens will know that it's wrong but what is a 15 or even younger boy going to do when his whole life it was "respect women and authority" plenty of them won't tell but like I said the ones who do tell rarely get taken seriously.. It's also a misleading graph. If you look at the numbers it's only displaying between 4 and 5. Men are around 4.9 and women are around 4.2. That's not really ultra liberal. Assuming that 5 is moderate, most men and women are still hanging around the center. Also this is out of date by 4 years and it seems as though some people were pulled back to the center from my observation (18-29 women liberal percentage went from 45% to 40% since 2020 while men and women conservatives in 2024 are 28% and 21% respectively). In the 2022 midterms, the most conservative voting bloc was rural Evangelical women, even more than the male counterpart. It was like 89% conservative compared to like 86% for men.

Gen X here, the divide as been growing for a very long time. My last relationship ended in 2020. Haven't even thought about asking a woman out since then. The last time I was single, 2009 to 2011 I started making the joke that getting a date was the sign of the apocalypse. A guy asks a woman out and she won't even straight up say no to him, yeah, that is not going to make him feel like putting up with the BS. Online dating was a joke back them. I spent about a year on multiple sites and I got a date where the woman looked like she rolled out of bed to meet me for the first time, even had a hoodie and sweat pants on. The only conversation I had a conversation on one site only because she wanted to know what it was like. I'm 46 now with no children of my own and I have accepted that it will not happen. Even if I were to meet someone, I fear that I will not live long enough to be there as the child gets older. Even marriage has become a question for me. Do I want to take the chance that she will leave me and take half of it, even the house that I live in right now.

Why hold equality as a standard at all? There is a story about a guy who hires 3 workers at 3 different times of the day. At the end of the day he pays each what they agreed to work for, which happens to be the same amount for all of them. When the workers hear this the ones hired earlier get upset that they didn't make more since they worked longer. The employer simply points out that the money is his, he can pay it to whoever he wants in any amount he wants. They all got what they agreed to, so why does it matter if someone else got more? The moral of the story is to point out that our nature as humans would rather see something good taken away from someone else to make it "fair". And how we impose our standard of what is fair onto others restricting their freedom. The story is about 2000 years old, but it sounds a lot like "equality" today. I have started to see equality as a race to the bottom. A term that takes and never gives. So I could care less if the genders are equal. I want people to have good things because those things are good. I am done with the idea that either gender is entitled to what the other gender has.

@@viperstriker4728 This example stands for the topic of equal pay. It has nothing to do with rights. Would you find it normal if there were laws that stated men could legally be raped and killed by women? No? Then you're for equality in the eyes of the Law. So is every sane and decent person. Even today, there are countries where women can be legally assaulted for not wearing the hijab, or for any other reason. There are countries where girls are hanged for being raped (yes, rape victims are being blamed for being raped, and executed for it). That's why feminism and female protection exists. The day these disgusting behaviors is widespread for men, THEN we'll be able to demand an equal amount of protection. All that to say, there is dumb feminism and necessary feminism.
