Thanks to you and jen for doing these videos. My husband and I love cuba and were going back to cayo coco and gonna do this resort. We have done cuba 10 times now and last year we stayed at memories flamenco. But memories caribe looks to be a bit better room wise and more. Such a beautiful place cuba and the food like you say is plenty. People need to realize its not canadian food and its gonna be different from what people expect. Thanks again can't wait to see more

I was debating between a few resorts in Cayo Coco and because of you - and no I won't bug you or tell you it's your fault should something not turn out perfectly - you really, really helped! Amazing I’ll be at the Flamenco

I love Cuba where my family and I have had several memorable vacations. This will be my first visit to Cayo Coco and in deciding where to stay, I was very impressed with your video + you have such a nice way about you in your presentation. My sister has never been to Cuba, so I am taking her here to this resort at the end of February. We will be staying in 2 of the same kind of suites you booked. Thank you so much for taking the time and putting so much of an effort into helping others visualize this beautiful resort.

@@KaituoKid We had a wonderful time. It was definitely worth having the Diamond Club experience. The Junior Suite Al Fresco rooms with the outdoor shower were some of the nicer accommodations. We got along great with the beach bar staff, and made some positive connections with other guests. The food and drinks were decent by Cuban standards. We also made reservations at Lenny's with another couple for sunset lobster dinner driven in one of the old classic cars. Oh, and I recommend reserving the VIP lounge at the airport with the Sunwing rep at the resort ASAP - limited spots, and definitely worth the price, especially if any delay going home - includes drinks, snacks, and more comfortable seating. Oh, and that beach like everyone says has to be one of the nicest ones in the Caribbean.

Just came back! Do not think twice, it's beautiful, clean and food is excellent too! Lots of exotic fruits! Drinks were good too! But...bring smth against mosquitoes! Other than that, no complaints at all! Managers were always there and they really do a good job to keep this place super pleasant! Will be back but better equipped with mosquitoes reppelent! Upgrade to Diamond Club, way better experience!

Thanks, I understand - Diamond Jr Suite Ocean View was only a few bucks more than regular. The main bonus was the oceanfront view. The room seems fine for a party of one.

Just discovered your videos and am enjoying them so much. A couple questions on Memories Caribe Beach Resort Cayo Coco. You mentioned you upgraded. I take it that you did this once there. Did you find it much cheaper than booking it on line before leaving. Q2. We are really looking at the suites with the outdoor showers. Do you know if they have these rooms with exterior showers on the upper floors? Keep up the great reviews and thanks.

Cappuccino looked awesome. Beautiful Beach with lots of palapas. Room looked pretty decent as well. How far from the airport? Also wondering if there was much of a language barrier with staff? When we went to Varadero that was a big issue.

Very informative. Looking forward to visiting Caribe for ourselves in February! I'm particularly impressed with the selection of food and drinks considering the shortages that are being reported. I'm curious about the jacuzzi that I've seen in the promo photos -- I'm assuming that it's in the spa. Did you see it?

Hey thanks for Subscribing, if you love big beaches to get away from everyone go to Flamenco, If you want a small Boutiques Hotel and with a slightly smaller but still beautiful beach with NO KIDS!!!! Caribe....I hope this helps!!!! check out my latest video, it was filmed at Caribe

I Usually tip in Canadian dollars!!! or USA Like I don’t tip every drink but i usually tip a $5.00 if i'm staying for a while and that gets me lots of drinks and food lets say...if that makes sense...or tip like that at the end or the beginning and your good for awhile Mike

Hi. My husband and I have watched several of your revues on Memories Caribe Resort. We are so impressed, that we are in the process of booking Oct 31 for 7 days. We were at the Memories Flamenco in 2015 and had a great time! We found the Flamenco very spread out. Now with my husband's back problems, it looks like the Memories Caribe would be be easier to navigate. We will be booking with the Diamond Club, which seems like a great package. Just wondering about hurricane season at the end of October? Any other information would be appreciated. Thanks. Keep up the excellent revues.

Nice resort & beach...I heard there were huge food shortages in Cuba and at various resorts, doesn't look like that is the case at this resort? Although didn't see bacon for breakfast, but everything else though? Dinner buffet looked great & the seafood place by the beach. Sorry go for good food & previous Cuban resorts we stayed at didn't cut it? Do they have white chicken vs just dark meat? Wife isn't a big pork, beef or seafood eater, lives on chicken! But I love everything! I am Canadian & price shopping for next Jan/Feb, Cuba seems to be the best price as always, every other location is almost double the prices gone way up! We could stay in your jr suite for 2wks at just over 4K CDN (couple) total vs our favorite resort in Mexico which would over 7K... Crazy!

Dollar for Dollar Cuba is the best bang for the $ For the $3000 you could buy a suitcase fill it with you favourite food fly it down and still save money

Great video! you managed to cover the entire resort. But I have a question concerning the room you had. Did it have an adjacent neighbour? by that I mean did you share a balcony? if so, are they private (seperated by a wall). Do you have any suggestions for rooms (number)? and is the diamond club really worth it? We are planning to go to Cayo Coco in March 2023, maybe Memories Caribe Beach Resort or Melia Cayo Coco. We usually go to Cuba twice a year at Cayo Santa Maria at Melia Buenavista (very quiet resort and I love their outside showers) and we have never been to Cayo Coco. Thank you very much. 🙂

Hey Lyse Thanks for the question! My room was beautiful!!!i believe it was room 4201 with the out door shower and yes it had a totally private outdoor sitting area and i believe it was divided buy a wall. Room was very cozy and comfortable and very quiet. We were in Melia Cayo coco a few years back, but for the money i do prefer this RESORT. BUT thats my opinion. I do love Santa Maria as well and stay at the Valentin Perla Blanca, I loved it, very quiet and private for spouses. I will be making 4 different resort videos this spring and fall. Varadero, Sant Maria, Cayo Coco, and Holgiun. let me know if theres a resort you want to see. please like and subscribe, it helps my channel

So if you have new videos coming (spring and fall), I really enjoy knowing about the adults only resort. suggestion: Royalton Cayo Santa Maria Sanctuary Grand Memories Cayo Largo...wondering about the beach at this resort-only 45 rooms). I like quiet hotels. I did like and subscribe. Take care!

I've been there many times and even stayed at the Melia and I was not overly impressed. @@Finding-Fish Hi Mike, so you now have a new subscriber. Like yourself I love the beach and have been to Cuba around 16 times. My last 2 trips to CC were not so great as I found many of the Cuban guests took and ate everything, ruined the experience, not peaceful at all. No food as they took most of it. It wasn't always that way. I understand they are like kids in a candy store when they go to these resorts but there is sooo much food wastage. Anyway just curious what do you do for a living, if you don't mind me asking, you seem to travel a lot and that's my dream. Thanks, Joe from Calgary

i'm actually making a new video of this exact topic!!!. Cuba is extremely safe, but there are opportunitistics if (thats a word) everywhere in the world. leaving phones and personal items out in plain sight is not the best idea. THINGS can go missing, like when people leave to go swimming or to the bar and leave there items unattended. Caution goes along wait. There are safes in your room... Put your Passport and wallets in there and leave them there, no need for them until you leave.

just like finding fish said it all about how you conduct yourself i will say that when i went my sister got robbed by someone she invited back to her room who wasn't a guest on the resort but was riding around with hotel staff, after he robbed her he was never seen again for the rest of our stay. so just be aware of who is around don't invite people to your room unless you know them or can trust them and don't leave your stuff unattended lock whatever valuables in your safe

Hello and thank you so much for your videos! We have discovered them in the last few days and plan to book Memories Caribe Cayo Coco for early December and upgrade to diamond club room. Just wondering, we want to be as close to the beach as possible so would you recommend booking a lagoon view or pool view room? The Sunwing website doesn’t mention the alfresco rooms. Is that something you can request on check in? Are those rooms worth it in your opinion? We do prefer to be as close to the beach as possible. Are there public washrooms at the beach? Thanks again!

The Memories Sanctuary (adults Only) Portion of Grand Memories is nice the sanctuary is a small portion and it’s had a great pool area I’ll be making a hopefully this year

Jo, depending on how busy the resort is you can always ask for more, Being sweet goes along way anywhere in life and maybe a little tip Please like and subscribe if you haven't already and thanks for your support

no but last year during Covid people from that resort would come to Flamenco to eat!!! lol

Great video! I’m going there in 2 weeks and I have a question, how fast is the internet is at Memories Caribe? I’m planning on getting some work done from my laptop, but I’m not sure how much work I can get done since I’ve heard that the internet is weak. Is it enough to load websites and upload videos?

the Internet SUCKS!!!!!just to be clear!!!up and down all the time. get up early is the best time, like 6am!!!! there could be a few shortages i've heard, i was in Cuba 2 weeks ago and i had a great time. The Beach there is amazing!!!!enjoy!!!! I will be back in Cuba soon going to More resorts so like and Subscribe !!!it helps out. I'm also Heading to Antiqua!!!! Enjoy Anthony!!!!

Is this the best resort for a mid 30s guy to go to by himself or would you recommend a different one? I want the best beach, not super far from the airport and I can compromise with quite a bit. Not a picky eater as long as it won't make me sick,

Great video of layout. We stayed here a few years ago. Top beach of Cayo Coco resorts! Loved the diamond club area & beach grill! Most complain of the mosquitoes, how was your experience? Bug spray & Benedryl a must.

my stay was great, weather was wonderful and the mosquitoes were our early in the morning and later in the evening. bring bugs spray😀

Thank you. We always go to Memories Jibacoa and are looking for a change for spring 2024. You didn't mention snorkeling or trips off the resort. We only snorkel off the beach, is that possible at Memories Caribe? Thanks, Cathy

I'll be going to this resort in November, first time going to cuba. So this was very helpful. It looks beautiful there 😊 thank you for making such a detailed video.

Take a regular room and don't take any gifts for the staff and we will see if you still say that it's beautiful hotel

@@danak7479 well when you spend very little money on an all inclusive resort for a very poor country with harsh sanctions on it then you most likely won't have the best time. They work hard at the resort and can't even get essential items to buy in their country. I think a few gifts here and there is a good way of showing you appreciate them. I actually just got back from the resort today and I had an amazing time. Every worker was super friendly. I did tip often and had many presents for them but I still think they would be kind. I had no issues with my room but if there was anything wrong with a room I've heard of them letting people have a new room.

I liked the video. We will be staying here from October 9th to the 16th. This is by far the best video I have seen on this resort. We are also staying in the same room category. 18 days and counting, so excited.

Thank you for the video tour, I'm going there in mid February with my wife and friends. This is my first time to Cuba, Do you convert your CAD to CUP at the resort? You mentioned that it was $5 Canadian for the hop on bus? I'm also going as a Diamond club member with upgraded room and all inclusive. I was wondering about if there is tipping? If so, in what currency and how much is acceptable? Thanks for any advice, Cheers!

Tipping is totally up to you $$1.00 for a few drinks 2-3 for lunch
