Yes indeed! There has been a lot of construction in recent years. But, as far as we know, no other new hotel is planned for Cayo Coco and Guillermo in the near future. They are now building new hotels on the nearby island of Cayo Cruz and Cayo Paredon.

can you walk from the pullman all the way to playa pilar along the beach? I know theres one nook to get around early on but after that can you go all the way?

Absolutely not! Pullman is located on Cayo Coco and Pilar on Cayo Guillermo. These islands are connected by the Hemingway bridge. The farther you can reach from the Pullman is the Hotel Colonial on Playa Larga from the beach.

I invite you to visit our website cayocococuba.net, you will see how far Pullman and Pilar are. The north coast has many beaches divided by very rough rocky surfaces, impossible to walk barefoot.

All the cayos of the Jardines del Rey archipelago have very nices beaches. Regarding which resort to choose, it depends on your budget and the type of ambiance you are looking for (small/intimate, lively, family oriented, adults only, luxurious, ...). I suggest you read reviews and look at ranking on Trip Advisor

And then again, with the money from those hotels my father got a cancer treatment that saved his face and eventually his life (found out the treatment cost $18 000), and my mum is kept alive by the constant medical supplies she gets at heavily subsidized cost. So, for me is a Viva Cuba, and may it be for years to come.
