Should have gave her the Shine in the PCD, Nicole is great but it was a group with more talent than just her and I will always love PCD!

the way she sobbed in the end is like giving how she waited for that moment to show what she's about and what she's for.

I got teary eyed at that moment. What a great story of redemption. We could only imagine how it must have felt for her to be treated as this villainess who tried to outshine Nicole and eventually was not asked back for PCD's comeback.

She’s waited too long to be for her voice to be appreciated glad to see it is finally happening

She was a great pop star but her voice soothes more songs like this. Her control improved so much! She is a diva in her own right! Love you, our Baby Doll!

I think she had then too BUT she was singing and dancing even though she was signed as a vocalist for PCD. She said herself, she can't dance lol She sounds amazing tho

Editing was garbage. She was great.

I love her journey and it shows she is truly talented. She was put in a corner when she was in PCD and she broke free and made her own path. Salute!

She sang with so much heart and soul. The beginning of the song was sung with so much love. Great great great. An the deepness no one can recreate but you melody

She is talented and underrated.

Wow, did not realise this young lady could sing like this; she put her own stamp on this song, love her beautiful, tones within the song too. I am pleasantly surprised, as most singers try so hard to sound like Whitney. Well done Melody, so proud of you, step out of the background, step into your destiny, peace and love ♥

Wow, genuinely very surprised and impressed by Melody's warm and rich tone and amazing vocals! She really did justice to one of Whitney Houston's greatest songs, and that's no small feat. I always thought she could sing while she was in the PCD, just not as strong vocally as Nicole and with a tendency to oversing in a Christina Aguilera style (but without Christina's musicality and soul), but this is like a redemption moment for her and proof that she can really sing! I had no idea she had this in her. Happy for her! ❤

Oh I smiled so much throughout this performance. So happy and proud of her ❤️

The pain was released. May She now focus on moving forward than backwards. Whatever happened to her in PCD is a necessary experience for her to find her own voice; literally and figuratively. And now here She has arrived because She now believes in herself.

This was just beatiful, amazing tone and voice, she is very talented.

I always wanted to more of Melody’s voice especially after those infamous adlibs on Buttons but even as a kid I could see what they were doing to her and her career. She EARNED this moment 10x over! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Well she wasn't really ready back then because her youth and lack of experience made her oversing and off-key during her PCD days. Perhaps all the negative comments she received back then actually helped in shaping her to be the competent soloist she has become now.

No they didn't! From day one they all signed a contract saying that Nicole was the lead singer. Melody and all the other girls knew their job was to be back up singers and dancers.
