Lorde traveled to year 4000 to make this album. There’s no other explanation.
Watching other people experience music on an emotional level is such a beautiful thing. Trying to convey feelings into words isn’t an easy thing to do but just watching her initial reactions are so breathtaking. It’s almost like listening to these songs for the first time all over again❤️

Loves!!
this album is a timeless masterpiece and should’ve won album of the year. i get goosebumps every time i listen to it. it’s such a beautiful piece of work that will live on as a classic.
I am so sorry too. I was shocked when I saw the album on spotify. I have been listening to it all day all night from that moment.
This is definitely an album you get more out of the more you listen to it. You start to notice certain details with how all these songs are connected. For instance, at the start of the album in Sober Lorde sings, “I’ll pretend I don’t see every *ribbon* you use to tie yourself to me.” Then towards the end of the album in Supercut, Lorde sings, “In my head, these visions never stop, these *ribbons* wrap me up.” She built this entire album on a slew of connected experiences and you start to have this movie play out in your head the more you listen to it. It’s a phenomenal album and I’m jealous that you get to experience it for the first time.
