Melbourne Zoo Snow Leopard cubs grow up!

Melbourne Zoo welcomed three Snow Leopard Cubs, Sikari, Manju and Asha, on 26 January 2020. Watch as they grow from cub to full size with mum Miska.
Snow leopards are among the world's most elusive animals and are classified as vulnerable in the wild, where they live in harsh mountain environments in countries including India, Nepal, China, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Threats faced by snow leopards in the wild include poaching and mining developments.
As part of a breeding program for the species, the snow cubs’ mum Miska and dad Kang-Ju were introduced at Melbourne Zoo and have now contributed to the insurance population of these beautiful creatures.

We saw them when they were little cubs on the camera, and just spotted a grown up trail in the distance. That was quite a while ago now, so lovely to see them grown. Hope to see them for real again soon!
