Great collaboration, i had only knew three songs by Melanie, Lay Down, Brand new Key and Look What they Done, when i found her live at Woodstock performance of Birthday of The Sun, i was blown away, i found endless appearances that she made on talk shows like The Tonight Show and Mike Douglas. What a voice, now i find this with Miley, i have to say i now look a Miley in a new light. Keep on performing Melanie, bring your light and brighten up these dark times we are living in.

My best friend Gary turned me on to Melanie when we were in high school and he would play her music on his guitar all the time. Today Gary and Melanie are drinking some leftover wine together in heaven hitting all the right chords. Melanie - Melanie - so so underrated! I saw Miley and Melanie's backyard performance several years ago and was so thrilled with it that I went back and found all the Melanie songs I grew up with and loved so much. I'm truly sorry to hear that Melanie passed. She brought such joy to so many of us. She had a beautiful voice, was an amazing songwriter, and seemed to almost glow with a goodness that I always looked up to as the true hippie chick. Rest in peace Melanie. You will be loved forever and missed greatly. Now Beautiful People is calling me and I've Got A Brand New Pair of Roller skates is whizzing through my brain right now! Love you always Melanie 🕊💐🕊

I was fifteen and not on any drugs. I'm sure that I was not the only one. A half-a-million people there and you could hear a pin drop that night. There was no rowdiness or people screaming during performances. .Melanie, if you ever come across this: Thank You.

Simply Awesome! Great idea, thanks Melanie!! a reminder that Music from the Past keeps singers from the Present inspiring music into the future. Musicians don’t retire; they stop when there’s no more music in them.- Louis Armstrong

I enjoyed this duo, superb and they are enjoying making music with each other. I will save to revisit like I do the Tiger Lilies singing, A Thousand Violins, Linda Williams singing, Crossing the Bar, Elvis singing, Trying to Get to You, Stevie wonder and Tom Jones singing, Moving On and the Hallelujah Acoustics with Kurt Nilsen.

I grew up listening to Melanie , and my daughter grew up with Miley, ( she loves them both actually) but when I saw this tonight it made my whole night s thousand times better! We have had a lot of losses, and the grief has been such a struggle, when I send her this tonight , it will be the best medicine I could ever imagine! Thanks to both of you, that was a fun light hearted treat in a way too serious world!

My uncle was born in 54 and was placed in a mental facility at age 12 by my grandma. He was given electro shock treatment to "fix" his brain for being gay. He was a zombie for weeks after that... My grandma never forgave herself for sending him there. My uncle beat the odds and ended up being very successful, incredibly intelligent, and one of my heroes. He just passed away this year and this song reminds me of him, hank you for this song
