This is a transparent masterpiece. Who ever Melanie is singing about was not a random boyfriend. This man was definitely her soulmate or someone she bonded with on a powerful level. This song transcends beyond feelings of infatuation or lust. Way too powerful to elaborate on further. But she did a wonderful job exposing the pain she endured during get personal tragedy.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. She performed at Xavier University of LA this past Saturday and her voice and stage presence were amazing! She is a wonderful live performer and her voice and lyrics are unlike any other female artist I have ever heard. She deserves so much more recognition in my opinion.
