@@WedgePee SOS was a great smash hit but it's not the kind of song I'm talking about. It's incomparable to Unfaithful in terms of impact on Rihanna's career. Unfaithful really got people looking at Rihanna differently, not like "that new pop/r&b girl" but as that new artist about to become a long lasting superstar.

It's bad but I don't believe we absolutely have to become victims. I'm celibate and not seeing anyone now, but when I was in the gay dating world, guys were faithful to me, even if I said we weren't a couple. Many of them took care of me because I had no place to live, and they smothered me. We woke up together, ate together, sat and did nothing together, went to sleep together (two of them would even walk in on me when I went to the bathroom). I often had to get permission when I wanted to go somewhere without them. If they cheated on me, they deserved it cause it was impossible to notice or suspect. Cheating is expected and should always be considered by a partner, but if someone's going to leave themselves open to devastation, then they should probably focus on how to reel their target in so it's as unlikely as possible.

I hate how most people forgot about this masterpiece. It's one of her best songs ever.

I feel it 2....but not 4 me. I am looking at it through a mothers eyes. Time goes too damn fast. They are home/ then college/ then work n apt or house n kids. N of course when they r younger theres so much less pressure. N lots of times they take off work in the summer n just enjoy the beach. They run around n have a great time. But then they have the world on their shoulders. Work n maybe marriage n kids. That carefree childhood is gone. Plus my 2 beautiful daughters no longer live with me. I would go back in a sec. Then they would b 16 n 21...instead of 26 n 31. I just wanna do it all again.

So true but sometimes the pain is worth it when it means you can make your kids happy and give them a happy normal life. Yes the pain is unbearable but breaking up my family is worth the pain I feel. Sometimes I do wish I could walk away from her but I can't. I put on a smile and act like nothing ever happened. It's been over 15 years dealing with my pain and not a day passes by where I don't think about it. It truly kills me inside but I don't show it.
