This all adds up to a jam pack that sounds great, looks great, and feel great for everyone who is ready to jam. I love the sunrise finish with spiral designs that represent new beginnings every time you play them. These drums have become the favorites in 4 years of working with the Meinl VivaRhythm Community, and I’m excited to offer you a special deal to help connect these drums with your hands today!
Features:
-Stack 10 full-size drums into 2 cases that weigh about what a typical wooden djembe would in each case.
-Easy to clean and sterilize, and they are also weather resistant.
-Sound great! Selected based on favorite sounding drums used in our programs over the last 4 years.
-Pop-off heads allow versatility to change to frame drum techniques or use on tables or laps for people with accessibility challenges.
-Backpack cases allow for easy transport and storage.
-Drums can be played individually or set up for a huge range of different configurations.
-Mix of Soft Sound and Boom Series heads create nice dynamic range with groups or individual preferences.
-Boom Series djembe heads sound better than some traditional goatskin heads, and they never have to be tuned.
-Soft Sound heads are warm and create a nice bass line when used together.

Dear Jeff, is your Jampack still available, and if so, also in Germany? I am a social worker at a primary school and would like to use the jampack to boost my current "drum circles" I am offering during some of the breaks. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and your efforts you are putting this jampack together!

Hi Balthas, We've sold out here in the US earlier this year, and Germany too as far as I know. It's such a great pack, Meinl oversold the availability by a few months, and due to manufacturing/supply chain issues, we've been delayed another few months. There were a few random drums in US warehouses, and we bought all those to fill long-standing orders. Last I heard, we were expecting new shipments later this year. I'm sorry for the delay. This pack is perfect for your drum circle breaks, and I hope we can fill your needs soon.

Let me check with my Meinl rep. We’re always oversold on a few pieces. I’m also trying to convince them to condense the shipping boxes from 12 down to 2, but we’ve been struggling with supply chain issues for years now. Hopefully we’re getting close. This convenient pack has changed my life!

I wish they made bags for the yoruba talking drums.

There are definitely cases that will fit yoruban talking drums. I use a Meinl bongo/percussion bag for mine, and I can comfortably fit two talking drums and their mallets. I've also used padded gym bags, and they are much less expensive.

Have you ever used the Remo Festival Series drums? I’m considering a set of the tubanos or this set of “congas”. I’m wondering if you have any opinions on how they compare in sound, weight and quality. Thank you in advance. I admire your work, and I hope to build my programs s large as yours.

Hi Mike, thanks for your compliment. I played the Remo Festival Series a few times, and I know some facilitators that use them. First, they are about $100 more expensive for the set of 3. The big advantage to these drums is to stack for better portability. Sound is a secondary consideration. There are differences in the head types that make a huge difference in sound. I prefer the full-sounding Soft Sound heads for many reasons, but not to use for a “conga” sound. (I still prefer to play real congas personally.) In programs, my goal is to provide durable, stackable, lightweight drums that play and look great. I like the sound of Remo, however the price difference was huge when I’m buying dozens of sets at a time. Meinl is clearly my choice, but I can’t say anything bad about Remo. They are great products to serve specific needs. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
